You can still try for a refund. Plenty of people got refunds for Journey of the Light after it was pulled from the store.
I don't know if you would get a refund, but certainly worth trying if you feel that way...

Valve thought WARMODE will get super popular which would hurt CSGO so they had to remove the competition.
Joke aside I wonder what happened. The game was around 60% positive reviews I think so I don't think developer pulled it, and I don't think it broke any rules for steam to remove it.
I also wonder why would they remove Legendary.
I heard Legends of Dawn was a buggy broken mess when it released but developers did patch it several times after that.

You have steam cards, some traders take those. On average they want around 0.60$ in cards per game, if it's not a very popular one.
I personally started buying sacks of gems (each is around 0.60€) and trading them for bundle games. Most traders will trade 1 game for 1 SoG if it's not a super popular game.
I have some bad experiences with steam traders
As long as you trade with someone who's got good reputation here you should be fine.

Haven't played it myself but I did read reviews and forum discussions.
The game was still early in development so there are bugs. Hitboxes are badly made. There's only one game mode (TDM). Only 2 maps (if I remember right).
You have to get points during match to buy weapons similar to the way you do in CSGO.
A lot of people seemed to have issues with lag.
Overall probably not a game worth playing until shit gets fixed.

Legends of dawn seems the kind of game I have on my wishlist (but can't be bothered to check it right now). I gave my bundlestars copy of Legendary to a friend and after a while I played it on his account for a bit. Low budget, but tbh more interesting than most of the "mainstream" FPS. Never played HAWX because I don't have a controller for that, but when I will buy one, I will finish all my dogfight games. :D
