How do I clear notifications?

I get notifications when people comment on my giveaways, but I can't for the life of me see a way to clear the notifications. I've clicked on the notifications page, and clicked on every link next to each comment and it's not doing anything. How can I remove them? please!

Edit: Someone just msgd me saying there's a 'clear notifications' button that I was too blind to see.
