Trying to find and old game!

Yes, another thread of finding and old game.

BUT, the 1st person who successfully helped me will get a reward! :)

Ok, so the game is 2d from above, you control a tiny ship and shoot balls, planets, rocks dont know exactly. Now, when you shot them they just explode to more smaller version of the original until there is nothing left to break to.

I'm sure there is a lot of version of this games but I'm looking for particular one I had tons of fun with my friends back then.

Some clues of what I remember:

All of the planets, balls were accurately round. So no asteroids shape as much as I remembwer.
The ships were hard to control, when you boost and turn, you could flow if you dont brake
Coming to the edge results you popping in the opposite round.
As much as I remember, there wasnt any storyline, it was just shoot the things up.
You could play with your friend both you controling another ship.

Game was found thanks to Ekaros and marnaish. The game is Comet Busters! 1994

Yes, I'm pretty sure there's A LOT of clones, thats why i'm having trouble finding my clone. It is not that.

On what were you playing? And around when, what sort of graphics it had? Vector, sprite, monochrome/colour?

PC, maybe around '98 and up. And, I remember it was beautiful haha, it had colors.

You are describing Asteroids of some version or another.

Plenty of top down shooter games like that, might want to visit a game wiki like GiantBomb ( http://www.giantbomb.com/ ) & pull up similar game to that then find a list of the ones like that all to narrow it down, knowing what it was played on helps find it quicker too. Good luck.

Very similar, the closest answer i got. But you saw how your ship wasnt moving a lot? like it was nailed to the spot? it wasnt in the game i am looking for, you always tried to balanced your ship, what made the game harder and very interesting.
