creating giveaway need understanding

i want to open giveaway and i read faq but i'm confused, i have a key for steam so do i click gift or key?

and i saw * Reduced value towards your contributor level.
** No value towards your contributor level.
how do i know if the game has value or not?

does entries number important? it gives something? or i do need only above 5?

faq overwhelmed me so i needed to ask here.. thanks

You select "key" giveaway and enter the key you have there.

When selecting a game the value status is indicated next to the name.

If you giveaway is public, 1 entry is enough. If it is private/group, you need 5 entries.

i put a game and still don't see the value.. in 'select a game'

If you see no indication of reduced or no value, the game is full value.

Full/reduced/no value will contribute 100/15/0% of their value to your level.

The little asterisk after your game name when you search it is indicative of the value toward your contributor level
It's not very clear indeed and the site should have a database for it imo
