Tower of Time, Eon Altar- some interesting new mechanics. Oh, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 of cource!

Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning is a very good, and very underrated RPG

If you get into a modern-day RPG game, make sure you don't forget your character's PIN numbers!
