I mean f.e you know about a game been in a bundle but you can't remember the bundle, or you had a discussion but you couldn't remember which one, so if there was f.e search dishonored and then it could show all threads that included those words.
Then this thread https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/EhJvw/where-are-those-giveaways-coming-from can also be slightly less filled.

I think that would be very helpful (and yes maybe one of those scripts i never use already does that).

If it gets added, I would definitely prefer if it was an option because I would most often just want to search titles. It would be useful if there were a few options so you could choose titles only, titles and OP, or titles, OP, and comments.

Edit: It's not a perfect solution, but when I am looking for something specific on SG that might not be in a title, I will use google to search just steamgifts discussions like this:

site:www.steamgifts.com/discussion/ dishonored

which will go to this search result

Offcourse it can be an option.

Yeah but it will not show what last bundle it's been in especially when it's an older bundle, it can work, or you have to be very good in google used the right words, it's a bit tricky and not always get the wanted results.

Yeah, it would be better to have on the site because Google doesn't cache every page and it is harder to find what you are looking for. I just meant that it is what I use as a workaround now because SG only searches titles. If you are looking for something recent, you could set a filter for the past day, week, or set a specific range of dates.

There's something for at least the bundle part. It's part of enhanced steam and technically not steamgifts, but still. You can just click there and it'll redirect to the itad page that shows all the bundles the game has been in. But yeah, I agree it would be a good feature to add for all the other reasons.

Yeah i am mainly an edge person, and never believed enhanced steam was on there, it seems there is augmented steam based on it, i guess i can try that out.

Well here is to hoping CG picks up on it.

For this specific issue about finding what bundles included a game you can also just search for it on itad, that's what I've been doing for years.

FYI Augmented Steam is what you want.

Enhanced Steam is the old version that the original developer ended up quitting, but instead of shutting the project down he gave all details to the creators of ITAD who were interested in it. So ITAD did some tinkering and released Augmented Steam as a replacement.

If you try to use Enhanced Steam a lot of the changes it does won't appear (since whenever Steam changes something the plugin needs to be updated for those changes).

When you say f.e. you mean e.g, right?

Yes!

f.e. = for example (English)
e.g. = for example (Latin's exempli gratia)

I always thought it's for "example given", but turns out this was incorrect.

Just use Isthereanydeal. It does exactly that, among other things. Will tell you if it has been in a bundle.
https://isthereanydeal.com/

If you search for Dishonored on isthereanydeal it comes up with the bundles, including the recent Fanatical Killer Bundle #26.

Edit: - others mentioned this, am a bit slow :)

If you search for a game on barter.vg you can scroll down or click the number next to bundle count to see all the current and previous bundles: https://barter.vg/i/853/?#bundles

Yes, and also sort ALL comments by their date, including replies (so that it'd be an actual forum experience and not reddit comments, most subs make new megathreads and close old ones every now and then for a reason, unlike on steamgifts). Also I'd like to be able to subscribe to threads to get notifications about all new replies, not just replies to my comments.
