Don't use this crap, be fair, achievements are challenge, if you want achievements, fight for them, don't cheat! I am telling you this as proud "perfect game hunter" (134)!

SAM follows the rule Valve have with any other 3rd party programs, which is: "use it at your own risk". That being said, they do not seem to be considering it a way to cheat the system at the moment. However, they could change their minds and wouldn't have to let you know about it.

If SAM allows you to unlock an achievement a game failed to unlock, then that's great. If you're using it to unlock all the achievements for a specific game, then you definitely missed the point of achievements. That's all.

You may get a VAC ban if you use the program while in a VAC protected server, but they warn you not to do so, otherwise never heard of any problems.

Googled this and the answer to your question was in the site. Basically, you're a dumbass if you do get VAC-banned.

Valve games is a sure 100% way to get VACed.
On other games without VAC,it can be used,but snice you cheated,people will get suspicious.
Its not fun to cheat.
Even the idle master consindered cheat(I found a steam discussion about it,and mod answered its a hacking).
