I have a problem when playing borderlands 2, after a while the game stops working. The screen turns black for a moment, and then the screen either becomes blue, red or white, or the pc restarts. This is a bug that occurd after 25h playtime, and I`ve tried reinnstaling it without luck. Any tips for solving this is much appreciated.

Could be hardware problems, depending on how long it is taking to occur.

It occurs completely random. Sometimes after 10-15 minutes, other times after hours, and sometimes not at all.

Could be overheating video card (or computer in general).

What is your computers specs (cpu, ram, motherboard, video card)?

What OS are you running, and is it 32bit or 64bit?

What case do you have?

Do you have any extra fans?

Whens the last time the inside of your computer was cleaned out?

The computer is only 3 months old, so it shouldNt be that. I try to dust the fan once a week. I have a quad core cpu (3,8Ghz) Nvida geforce GTX 660, 8GB RAM. No exstra fans. And never been inside the computer to clean it, as the Guarantee expires when I open it. Running windows 8 64bit. Sorry for my english btw, Im norwegian.

Your English is pretty good :)

You running windows 7 or 8 and is 32bit or 64bit? (If you are not sure to find out, in windows 7 bring up explorer and look for "Computer" in the list on the left hand side. Right click on it and select properties. It should tell you that info. Not sure where it is in windows 8, never used it yet)

Does this happen with any other computer games?

What is your screen res you are running the game at? I run at 1920x1200.

The amount of ram is a little low but should be fine. It does sound like it could be overheating. But without opening the case its hard to narrow it down. But I totally understand not wanting to break the seal on it.

Running Windows 8, 64 bit. Resolution while playing Borderlands 2 is 1024x768. For other games, it happened once during Tomb Raider, but this is the only other time the error occured.

Looked through an error log on my computer, and something called "kernel-Power" seems to be the source for 2 critical errors the last 24 hours. Anything you can tell me from that?

Looking into it now, again don't know windows 8 at all, but my googlefoo is strong. :D

One other thing that came to mind, when was your video drivers last updated? If it was just before all this started happening that could be the issues.

From what I can find so far, maybe this could help.

Wish I could do more. :/
