No but the herds of people kinda make traffic even more of a nightmare than it already is downtown.... grumble grumble

Didn't know it was this big. I lived in the East before and I was hearing much more about Pax East obviously, and it sounded like that was the bigger one and that the others were only catching up in popularity. For downtown Seattle to be clogged like this tells me the opposite.

Well....downtown seattle is normally pretty bad when it comes to traffic. But PAX just seems to get bigger and more popular every year and you can definitely see that there's more congestion and stuff with all the extra foot traffic.

Aren't there a few in Miami, Orlando or even Jacksonville? Those seem like decently sized cities where stuff like this could happen.
I feel that pain though. I've never lived anywhere close to the big conventions either. And in this case, they're giving away some content I might never have access to, it's frustrating considering I've been supporting them by buying all their stuff and promoting their game here and there.

I see, just looked it up, and it definitely isn't too close to anything. Quite the bus ride to get anywhere big! It's around 10 hours of bus for me to reach anything too!

Yeah, same here: need to renew my passport, and it's about a thousand bucks of plane tickets to attend the closest one. The joys of foreign conventions.

It's like the coolest Scoop skin too. I wish they made it available through other means, but going to conventions is just so limiting. At least they made the other "exclusives" fairly easily available after their events, but I don't know why they keep that one so exclusive. Forces people to beg like this, it's not cool :/

I'm surprised there's no topic about it: are you guys going to PAX Prime? Have you ever gone to PAX? What has been your experience there? I've never been myself, but I'm hearing more and more about it, both for Boardgames and Videogames, and I see there's more and more versions of it around the states.
Anybody at PAX Prime willing to take a little detour for me? Ronimo gives away a digital promo skin at their booth, and all it takes to get it is to put some e-mail address on their computer dedicated to that. I can't attend any of their conventions, so this is a really desperate attempt at finding a benefactor that could spare the few minutes. It's by far my most played game, it'd be put to very good use! :)
