Does anyone know of any bots that do 1:1 cross-set trades for non-marketable trading cards? I currently know only of the excellent VanillaBot - it's great, but an alternative or two would really help. I'm trying to consolidate as many of the non-marketable card I have left as I can into sets.

edit: I'm not looking for actual trades here. Not that I'm opposed - feel free to send me a trade request if you like - but trading is better left for SteamTrades or the Dead Items Trading Post group than in SteamGifts discussions. Just looking for suggestions for bots, similar to VanillaBot, that trade non-marketable cards.

Thanks for the suggestions. Here's what I picked up from the thread:

  • Looks like VanillaBot is still the best bet for 1:1 cross-set. Can't find anything else that compares.
  • at46 suggested [XTS Bot] (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198059409319/), which does the same job but requests 2:1 for cross-set, so that might be nice if you really need a card that VanillaBot doesn't have in order to finish a set.

I was thinking about this topic when the winter sales begun.

I have several sets incomplete, needing from 1 to 5-6 cards. In that case a bot won't be helpful.
So.. do you want to trade your cards with me?

Are you looking for some Zonitron cards maybe? I will be happy to get them off my hands xD The issue is, I have the trade hold now so I understand that you might not be interested in the trade.

And if I may hi-jack you thread... I got a foil award card but I don't want to buy 11 other foils ;) Do you think it's reasonable to trade it for regular cards and if so - what amount would be considered fair? I can't access the trading forum for some reason (overload prolly, Steam gives me Unknown Error lol).

I think the best thing to do with foil cards is to turn them into gems. It would be too much work to find a complete set.

Thanks. That's what I was planning to do but I was hoping someone would like to exchange my foil for regular card(s) ;) Anyway, if you'd like to trade those Zonitron non-marketable cards, feel free to send me an offer or/and friend request :)

Lots of bots that do 1:1 trades are listed here: https://asf.justarchi.net/STM

Thanks for that :) But I'm looking for specifically for cross-set bots, which are harder to find. Most bots are same-set or equal-value (which obviously won't work for non-marketable cards).

One of the alternatives is to dump them on steamlvlup.com (as they are currently only level up bot that accepts not full sets afaik) and then take some other set from it.

You had some answers and this looks like it's about to turn into a trading thread so I'm going to close this
