I've never actually experienced snow since it quite simply can't snow where I live and the times when I've been to the parts of my country where it does snow was during summer, I've seen snow atop a mountain tho, but have never seen it falling down in real life.

Where I live it's temperate climate, and very close to the sea, rare to snow here. It snowed more when I was a kid. Actually I don't remember the last time it snowed here. 6-7 years? More probably.

Not complaining. Better than having a 9-month winter.

I've only ever seen snow once in my life, as a kid they once brought a truckload of it to the coast for the kids to enjoy (and hopefully convince their parents to consider overpriced ski holidays). Won't lie, it was mostly white slush by the time it got to us 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for the jigidis!

Fun fact: most of the world doesn’t get snow at Christmas.

We rarely get snow in Paris because the subway and traffic warm up the entire city too much for that and when it happens it tends to be past the winter solstice.
This year, however, we already had a snow storm last week that lasted several hours. It wasn't cold enough to stay on the ground but it snowed hard and there were big fluffy snowflakes that looked like feathers in the wind. At times the wind was swirling and it looked like it was snowing from below as well as above and the snowflakes were going back to the sky.

And that was just a couple of days after we recorded the warmest ever day in November with over 20°C. Talk about crazy weather!

Ahh I'm so jealous, I'd love a snowy Christmas but I live in Australia and it's boiling hot here 😢

No snow here in North-West Germany atm.
There was a smattering at the start of November but that only lasted a few days.
Of course in other areas there was more and accidents ensued because nobody remebers how to drive carefully in those conditions 🤪
