Some of the latter half of the list is probably, otherwise I think Steam will reach the state of Big Fish Games, where it still exists, generates decent revenue, but nothing is actually changing apart from adding new titles.

Why would they remove idling? I don't see how they have any incentive to do this.

Looking at current trends, in 10 years making trades or marketplace sales will probably require a DNA sample and a notary public.

1. Steam mobile app still not available on Windows Phone if Windows Phone still exist by then!
2. Steam mobile app will still continue to be an utter pile of messy code awesome app
3. Steam mobile authenticator become mandatory for every single action done on Steam
4. complete and mandatory integration with other social network (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, and so on...)
   • with forced sharing of every single action done on Steam, without an opt-out option
5. to trade or use the market you will need to provide:
   • a sample of blood from both you and all of your relatives and pets
   • a strand of your DNA (nimblemongoose beat me to it :p)
   • a (physical) contract with which you basically give away all your rights regarding Steam hey wait, they already have that, albeit only digital
   • unlimited access to all your bank accounts and credit/debit cards for fraud prevention
6. Valve still thrive just on TF2, DOTA2 and CS:GO for all their profits
7. Accounts not playing TF2, DOTA2 or CS:GO will be demoted to restricted status, because they want everyone to experience these cash-grab wonderful games
8. hackers and scammers still run rampant okay, this one is totally realistic

I feel like you should delete the Steam Premium....
We don't want to give Steam any ideas O.O

• Steam is flooded with crappy indi games (even more so).
• Steam client flooded with ads for aforementioned crappy indi games.
• Ads added in gamestreams (similar to Youtube).
• AAA games cost 100$, DLC 50$.
• Fingerprint reader + voice recognition required to log in. DNA sequencer needed to trade, otherwise trade hold for 6 months
• Timed activation for games (you are allowed to play a game for 50 hours after which it's removed from your library and you ONLY pay 50$ instead of 100$).
• Another crappy digital item(s) (similar to Steam cards) to make money off without actuallly doing anything.
• Tech Support fully automated responses by bots (no human interaction possible).
• Counter Strike: Buy All The Items Edition!
• Only old people remember Valve once made cool games like Portal and Half-Life

Half Life 3 doesn't bother me, but we'll get a Portal 3... right?
