I assume you want it to go on sale on Steam to utilise your local lower price range. In this case, yes, your next best bet is maybe around Easter or the Summer Sale at worst. Bethesda always puts up the TES and Fallout games on sale at those, but many of their published games also tend to be on sale during the summer and winter events. (Heck, Skyrim was pretty much a top seller in four of those in a row.)
Normally, if you are in a ROW country, these games go on sale every 2-3 weeks on average on some reseller site or another.

Does Steam usually have an Easter sale?

Not really, but in 2016 they pretty much had a sale at every excuse they got. I'd swear they had more themed sales than GamersGate. =) They could continue this in 2017 as well.

If we redeem LE now, will us get the normal skyrim or Special edition skyrim?

If you bought the original Skyrim and the original DLCs, you were given the Special Edition for free. However, the promotional offer is not available anymore.

There has never been 75% discount on Skyrim along with former ES series since last year if I remember correctly. %66 at most.

66% is OK :)

I have dropped any hopes for getting good discount for Legendery Edition, I think it was couple of years ago when LE was having the perfect discount. Out of a sudden Bethesda entered bitch mode and since then on every sale it's super pricy to get upgrade for a game this old.

right, but it`s not a Definition Edition, right? Bethesda has all the reason to sell games at big prices, but hey, we want discounts :D

As far as I know Legendary Edition still automatically upgrades to Definitive Edition so yeah... you are paying for the Definitive Edition.

Pretty sure it doesn't.

you mean Legendary Edition is nothing more than better graphics?

Compared to the Standard Skyrim base game the Legendary Edition also contains all 3 expensions but what I ment is that (I think) that offer that the Legendary Editions makes you eligible for a free upgrade to Definitive Edition is maybe still valid and if that's the case you should understand that you're basically paying for the Definitive Edition because Legendary gives you a free upgrade.

the bitch mode is so real, even on Brazil, with R$220 for Doom, when about R$99~R$149 is kinda a standard for PC AAA releases.

Out of a sudden

We are still talking about the publisher that attached a price tag to the otherwise free Quake Live pretty much as soon as they got their paws on it, right?

Well I can't remember Bethesda being a dick. I remember them like one day they were super cool and on the next ultra EA kinda altitude. Can't say they were dicks from the beginning.

Well, I hate to tell you this, but they always were. They just usually flew way below the radar because prior getting the Fallout franchise (after a long legal battle won by pretty much in a who-has-more-money-for-lawyers contest) and Elder Scrolls becoming a mainstream thing (growing from being an almost blatant Ultima Underworld rip-off), they were just releasing cheap adaptation games and low-grade sports trash. Look up Arkane Studios or Echelon once in relation to Bethesda if you want some interesting stories.

Nah, it is not a secret that I am highly opinionated when it comes to Bethesda and even more so with Blizzard, whom I consider the most successful yet talentless idea thieves since Thomas Edison. Just with Bethesda, the public opinion is slowly turning closer to my views of them. :)

I think the free SE redemption is over now. LE is the original + all dlcs. The newer SE remastered the graphics which mainly made a difference for console users but skyrim players on the PC usually already used graphic mods on steam workshop to make the game look amazing so it didn't actually matter much.

I think the best part of the Special Edition is the game now will not crash under heavy modding.

It's already a discount RPG since Bethesda already removed 85% of the role playing from the Elder Scrolls games. ;)

Discount? Why? Buy it somewhere else than steam. The cheapet price I found is 4 € for normal edition and 8 € for the legendary edition.

Just better graphics. Just install the HD mod, it looks better than Skyrim SE.

What marsHm311oW said was at the beginning, when the SE came out. And it was also more stable. Right now there are a fair amount of mods for the SE and now it could be better to play that insteand of the classic version

I found the original boxed edition with map CD and all, perfect quality, for 2 euros only in my local retail store. Ofc the game wasn't even on the CD and the Steam code needed to download it had already been used.
This is the kind of discount i get :p

I want a Bioshock like bundle on Elder Scrolls, is it too much to ask :( Just think Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim with all DLCs & addons on $15 wouldn't that be great?

To expensive. Morrowind and Oblivion, each are not more worth than $2.

Two things can happen. Of course, asume the 75% on skyrim LE is dead. On steam will never be 7.50€/$ again.

  • Discounted Skyrim and DLCs. Since now is a package and it's discounted, buying everything will be an option, but not as interesting as it was. This was made to "force" people to boy only one or two DLCs in order to get the Special Edition for free.
  • Discouted Special Edition. Since is a "new" game the % of the sale will be low
