Humble Bundle Policy on VPN!?

Hi, I recently wanted to buy the MGSV deal that Humble Bundle is running with the Konami Deals.

I live in one territory of the United States (not state but I am an American citizen) however I can't buy anything from Humble Bundle because is "region locked"

I was thinking on using a VPN to buy this game but I don't know if Humble Bundle will ban me by doing so.

Do you have any recommendations or experience that might share with me?

That is one interesting case of different region. What countries do you usually get grouped with in region locks?

I guess that USA since Puerto Rico is part of the USA. Is there any way to check that?

Someone with more information about these might be more helpful. My guess is that it would be completely fine but VPN is always on your own risk.

Does it say USA as country in https://store.steampowered.com/account/ ?

It said Puerto Rico, I just change it to USA but not sure if that can help.

They are against the use of VPN and yes that can lead to a ban.

When i were you , i would write the support with that question and look what they answer....

VPN inside same country sounds less harmful than to cheaper regions. But one can also always try to find someone living in the states to buy it to be safer.

I am very sure they only detect the VPN use and not trace back from which country the "entry" is.

Good point. I was thinking more of Steam Store regions which don't care as long as the price stays same.
