Spring cleaning your wallet for this Monthly bundle? ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)
Man, some of the people in these threads never cease to amaze me. Calling it a joke, the worst yet, a bad bundle and such, or even "just a meh bundle". I can understand if already had some of the games, and a lot of people also did like it, but I was like a freaking Vince McMahon reaction gif going through the list. Really happy to get Layers of Fear (with the DLC included!), and Event[0]. Two wish list games besides the Witness. I guess, if you don't like exploration games, you're shit out of luck this month. They're good games, though. And Kingdom and Black Mesa should be really solidly enjoyable, too. The rest are an interesting little smattering of arcade games. Great bundle, in my opinion. 4 big games besides The Witness, and you can spend that $5 credit on what you want (although $5 may be a bit low). I thought they bumped up the quality to make up for rebundling The Witness.

Yeah, everyone's entitled to their opinion. I was just expressing my own surprise that some people's opinion was so different from mine. I found it really strange, since it's not like the last one where most of the games were small not well known, and I don't see any obvious problems with the games in this one. If not for the whole wishy-washy Witness thing, or if I didn't already have it, I'd put this one right up there with the very best monthlies. Certainly, I was very pleased.
But tastes differ. Evidently you and I have different tastes, because I was also really surprised to read how much you disliked The Talos Principle, which was one of my most wanted games until I traded for it recently.
Whenever someone describes the contents of a Humble Monthly as something like trash, though (not that you did), it rather boggles my mind.

Similar here. I'm totally fine with people saying they don't like a bundle (or something else) but people calling it (or something else) trash or worst bundle ever (if it is objectively not) somehow trigger me in a bad way. Why always these dull exaggerations, is that cool? Just say you don't like it kid. Meaning not you jims9350, more talking general.
Anyhow nothing's wrong with different opinions, for me it's just the way how to express these. Personally I like the bundle for the same games as you :)

It's because this is the internet. Everything has to be either the best or the worst thing ever. No middle ground.

Perfectly happy with this bundle.
Didn't have any of the games (though my brother's account had Tumblestone... not sure where he got that...), Layers of Fear and Slime-San were on my wishlist, and everything else looks neat.
Already purchased May because I needs me some Inside.

Humble Yogscast Bungle or a beta promotional key that turned into the "trial" version of the game (limited levels/games per day).
Not sure if someone has asked this before, the Tumblestone included in this bundle is the full one, right?

It sure is, you get the full game unlock DLC and the multiplayer DLC included.

Wow, this is the first monthly HB that I've gotten where I'm keeping everything for myself. XD Witness, Layers, and Event were all wishlisted, and the others weren't ones I'd heard of. When I saw what they were like, I decided I wanted them! Well... other than some controversy surrounding Tumblestone, which I'm sort of leery about. But I like puzzle games, soooo. Shrugs
Point being, fantastic bundle IMO, I was very very happy to see what was in it!

Too late for the Witness bundle now, you need to buy them blind lol ;(

Do you use Steam Trades? There will be people over there (myself among them) looking to unload games from this month's bundle. You ought to be able to pick up a lot of what you want in trade for way less than you'd spend to buy it. Hit us up over there.

I've never heard of them. I'll have to look into that. Group buying sometimes works really well.
But I've done pretty well over on Steamtrades too. Sometimes I've done incredibly well. You just have to be willing to turn down deals that aren't good for you. Lots of people will make or accept fair offers, and I often prefer not to involve actual money.

I'm not thrilled with this one, but I bought it primarily for the early unlock so I'm still happy. Beside that I'm only keeping Event[0], which I'd somehow never heard of before.
But I've already succeeded in trading one of the others for something that I wanted from a previous month. And given the above responses I think eventually someone will want the others. I don't think I've had a Humble monthly yet that wasn't worth what I paid for it when all was said and done.
