Nice! I almost bought it on Steam last week when it was on sale.

So you are asking people to lie to you? This months bundle is pretty bad from what I am looking at.
Comment has been collapsed.
really? i sometimes get the impression people buy the early unlock, then then forget about that game and judge the bundle just by the other unlocks. i mean, total war warhammer is a pretty big one. that alone makes it a great bundle. and there are other good ones in there, too. i think it's a pretty good bundle. lot of value for the money, as always.

oh, i don't give a fuck about the steam user rating. people generally downvote AAA games for several reasons. those might be technical problems, or simply "UbiShit". i am not even against negative reviews for technical reasons. i think this is a good way of making devs aware of certain problems. especially those who ignore forum posts and emails about it. but that also means the steam user rating is not a viable way of judging whether a game is good or not.
i mean, Rambo the Video Game is a great example. it has mixed reviews now, but it had mostly positive ones for quite a while. would it ever occur to you that Rambo might be a better game than TW Warhammer, or even of similar quality? ^^ and there are countless examples of this. you can see general patterns. AAA games always have it harder than indie games. certain publishers will automatically get lower scores. everything with connection issues or bad performance gets voted down to the ground. and all that has nothing to do with the actual gameplay.
honestly, if you're looking for a score, steam is by far the worst place to look. despite the valid criticism about it, i take metacritic over steam every day. at least game critics try to be objective. no critic would ever give a 0/10 (or a 0/1 ^^) for technical issues. but that's what happens on steam.
that doesn't mean steam user reviews are worthless. absolutely not. i love them. but you really need to read them. looking at the combined score doesn't tell you what you need to know.
in case of TW Warhammer, i just had a quick look at the reviews. seems many people do not agree with the DLC politics, so they vote it down. a game can be absolutely fantastic - if they add DLC and people don't like it, it will get bad reviews. that doesn't mean the game is suddenly bad.
another thing that applies for user reviews - people with problems or anger are more likely to go on the internet and be vocal about it. people who just enjoy the game often don't even take part in the discussion. so i think it is actually reasonable to believe that most games would have higher scores, if everyone voted.

exactly that. i didn't play TW:W (yet), but i heard it's the best TW since Shogun 2. so those mixed reviews don't really fit. and they differ a lot from what critics say.

won't happen in the near future anyway. since For Honor came out, i played nothing else. that game is fucking brilliant! and NieR Automata will come soon. also Mass Effect. so many games, so little time... ^^

Humble Bundle always provides a great value based on cost. But I am subjectively determining the value based on entertainment - which for me is zero - the monthly was a total bust for me.... not a single game title that I am personally interested in. Granted for many others it very well may have been a 'fantastic' bundle based solely on the inclusion of total war warhammer - that just does not apply to me.

well, that's fine. but then you should be more clear about it. you didn't make the impression you wanted to say that it is just your personal opinion that the bundle is crap. you implied that everyone thinks that. ("So you are asking people to lie to you")

aside from the main game the rest of the bundle was kind of weak.. Warhammer was the main price.. One piece 3 is ok, but really niche.. Space run Galaxy is like meh, ok I guess, The rest are something you'd expect to find in a Indie Gala Monday bundle.. just fodder to fill your library..

Do you get this option from the key page once you've purchased? Is that how it works?

um.. did i miss something or was humble supposed to have "never bundled before" games in these, how long has it been since the witness was bundled? this is very disappointing, but i guess my money will be going elsewhere

They likely don't count the freedom bundle as a "real" bundle. They only occasionally do those pure charity bundles with finite contributions from developers.
Whether it's fair or not, this is probably their reasoning.

It does seem strange that they chose a recent bundle repeat as a feature game, but they never claimed all the games would be never bundled before. Unless they release a bundle that's all repeats (and none so far have been close to that), they're technically still living up to the advertising.

Lol, they haven't reply my tickets, so you know what i got now >.<

I need to think about this one, not 100% interesed on this one, but the greed is the greed.

No option for skipping for already owning the early unlock? (Would have definitely gotten it if I didn't though!).

I see. Well, I didn't buy the Freedom bundle, but traded for the Witness, so it wouldn't apply to me anyway. And yeah, an extra key is definitely the better deal.

omg, cant choose between $5 wallet or 36,99€ game :) joking

Aah. I paused last month, and now it looks like it continues (will be charged on March 31st) and I have my 10% discount for humble store. I liked that. I can pause it again just before being charged and still keep my 10% discount for another month? \o/.

Yeah, but consider you'll get 5-6 games more, possibly one or more that you like, and actualliy, you end up paying $4 for The Witness.

What? I went for the game, not the credit, and it's DRM-free only... Not steam!
Oh FFS.... https://support.humblebundle.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003633387 So much for gifting another copy. >:/

Why do you say it's the worst early unlock/headliner?
Can't be worse than Hurtworld or the CoD MP Starter Pack. Or Dragon's Dogma, inferior Skyrim knockoff (my opinion, I guess). Or even ARK, a game that apparently even really good comps can't run well.
Obviously, the Freedom Bundle conflict is not good. My first reaction was a face of upset confusion because of that, but honestly I think the $5 credit is not bad.

Ark was one of the better ones, though I don't remember if it was a leader game, it plays fine on my machine, just takes up too much space on my SSD >.<
The $5 credit you can't get UNLESS you bought the freedom bundle. Pretty much saying it's the worst from the standpoint of being a full on bundle game (which makes even doing a GA for it near useless for CV)

I'm pretty sure I'd rank Payday 2 and the DLC's which were given away in the first month as the official worst early release games, sinc everyone who subbed the first month already had the Payday 2 and extras, and we weren't given anything else.. or wait, was that before they started the early release stuff I can't remember..
As for Dragon's Dogma... man that game is pretty nice, although it can take some getting used too, and requires someone to put in the work to fully enjoy it..
