Thank god you put that smile at the back. It would have a totally different meaning if it is being put in the front :P

Dont be a noob, he can block your calls easy as 1-2-3, every phone has this feature.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't only have one phone to do this, besides, he definitely looks like a technical analphabet, so I seriously doubt he'd find that feature any time soon.

^ This!
Not if you hide your number!
Odds are he won't block unknown calls on his phone, since it can be anyone and it might be important even.

Especially if you hide your number. I had some "not-even-a-one-sec" ringtones (it ended before I even noticed phone is ringing :P ) from hidden number and wanted to know if there's some way to get that number. Phone-company told me only thing I can do is block hidden numbers.
But like Litzie said, that's not really an option as there always could be important call. Was thinking about going to police, but calls ended, so

Every time you should be absolutely serious with the absolute most ridiculous premise you can think of.

The only way to do it. Thankfully, I worked as a telemarketer so chances are I can sound totally formal and serious about anything I want, and not laugh. Believe me, it helped me in the past laying down some pranks on old classmates.

I'm not a man of violence, so I only resort to that if I really need to. No money was lost to him, so it would especially be completely unnecessary. I just want him to beg me to stop harrassing him. Seriously, if I make him cry, I'll celebrate it.

What was your payment method? Charging back on your credit card can negatively affect your credit score and charging back through PayPal doesn't guarantee you a full refund.
I personally wouldn't harass them. If you were looking to make a purchase from them, they must have some sort of contact information for you. It won't be very funny if you end up getting charged because you couldn't just carry on.

I can chage back on my bank account, because I used that to pay. Thankfully, the payment went to an account within the same bank so there's not going to be any repercussions about it.
As for harrassment, I don't think he knows my name, even though I told him about 5 times so far. But even on my last call he wondered who I was, so he doesn't ever know my number after all these calls. This dude is still actively scamming on hungarian Ebay-like sites with used items, I doubt he'll know who does this to him out of the victims he got so far. And after taking a look, he has a few of those...

Citi and Chase have both been known to report charge backs and they will show up on TransUnion, Experian and Equifax reports. They shouldn't as it's a service offered through the institute, but unfortunately what's supposed to happen and what actually does, don't always match!
I prefer the "better safe than sorry" route when it comes to my credit score. It's a lot easier to wreck it than it is to bring it up.

Ehh, it's a bit specific, he'll maybe, maybe know who's messing with him. Will try with other product names though.

Ask him at around what time you can deliver the 10 family-sized pizzas he ordered for tommorow's party, that should make him a bit shaky. If he ends up saying "you got the wrong person here." then make a move and go for a BANG and say his name on the phone and the address (real address, if you have it) he gave to deliver the package.
Then you can try again sometime later with another subject, like "About that exotic vehicle import we talked about yesterday..."
Or call him and speak like if you were an officer "Hello, this is da police and we have been tracking your fraudulent moves on the interwebs!"

Once in college, I got ripped off for a quarter oz. of herb, guy literally just ran away from me at top speed. In the weeks/months that followed, I would always pass my phone around whenever we were partying and encourage people to leave a creative message. The best i remember was this one girl who went on and on about how she was pregnant and all these crazy demands of support. The best you can do is laugh it off and take the lesson you've been served, I certainly haven't been scammed (either on or offline) since.

So, finally nothing happened, you have not been scammed. And the title is wrong :P
Happy for you anyway :)
Have a nice day :)

Don't worry, I can reverse my transfer to the guy who did it, so nothing is lost. Long story short, I was about to get a Samsung Galaxy S2 for a ridicoulously low price, and knowing the risks, I transferred my money first. Now a few days later it turns out he's a scammer, and that I probably found the best candidate for victim of my phony phone calls :D
Well, it's too bad I won't record them or anything since it's hungarian, and not a lot of people will care, but 2 weeks from now I'll work at a night shift, and I plan on calling him every hour of the night, every day. Now, why am I posting it here then? Well to ask for ideas of course! What kind of calls should I make? I have a few in store like "Sir, your mormon disco ball cannot be shipped to your house" and other more lame stuff like that, but if anyone has a few ideas then it'll be great to hear. I'll keep you posted about the results of this, hopefully I can drive him mad.
Thanks in advance,
Ze Fairy.
