Not only is the season of giving upon us but the longest night of the year inches closer too, and I've got just the proper celebration for this timely twofer: a bunch of horror game giveaways! Fourteen to be exact, from personal favourites to critical darlings, from creative indies to industry-defining classics, from bundle repeats to never-before-bundled blockbusters.

These fourteen giveaways are packaged as a mini-story that also serves as promotion for my first (horror)book. If you like this story, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could support my book as well. It's pretty amazing.* You can also find it on Apple's app store, as well as a few other online retailers. It is possible to download the first 20% of my book free of charge on any online store that sells it. That's about 50 pages of free reading material to make it through those cosy winter nights.

Don't like books and fear for your chances of winning, but still want to participate somehow? Each giveaway is a thread with a specific discussion so feel free to add your own experiences and thoughts to it. Simple questions for even more fun stories! Ain't that grand? It sure is.

How about it, sport? Feel like riding this Infernal Train to the longest night of the year? Are you sure? I mean that train does look kind of menacing... It's like a string of cathedrals tethered behind a steam train. It's rather upsetting, really. And I have a feeling that it will only get curiouser and curiouser. Still up to it? Alright... Your funeral.

Punch your ticket right here.
All games are Level 1+

Special thanks to mod SleepyCat for a quick increase of my giveaway slots!

*based on a few testimonials that may or may not include myself.

Edit:

Holy cow!
The response to this has been waaaaay bigger than I thought it would be! I wish I could reply to everyone but so many of you have already participated and congratulated that I just can't keep up. That's great, though! I had a ton of fun writing this story and coming up with this giveaway train and selecting the games, and I'm beyond happy to read your many reactions. And I do read them! ALL OF THEM! :P So a big big biiiig thank you all for participating with the questions and sharing your experiences!
