I recomend the LEGO games... don't own them on pc but used to play them on other platforms

If you like shmups, then Ikaruga, GundeadliGne and Jamestown are a must.

Borderlands 2 splitscreen pc launcher, btw there were MAAAANY threads about local coop games... Just use a search function or search on steam by tag "local co-op"

Mercenary kings is hella fun! And has 4 player local coop :)
Monaco has 4 player local coop as well.
Risk of rain is really nice
Hammerwatch is pretty fun
Hero siege also! :D

Cannon Brawl, in Early Acces right now for quite some time at this point and a ton of fun to play. It's like a finished product already, only with free DLC and the Local-Coop I played of it myself has been a really good time. It just keeps feeling good to crush your opponent with your nifty little tactics :D

Its single-screen game, not split-screen :)

check cortex command. might be scary at first but with little practice, few mods and a slight modification so taht a pistol costs negative (so you get money when buying it) and the game becomes a reeeally bloody and random co-op sandbox shooter :)
