What were your favorite/least favorite moments?

My favorite moment was when Zhao Yun Ru activated the device that was supposed to disable my augments and nothing happened.

My least favorite? I was attempting to do a pacifist run on my first playthrough. Somewhere about half-way into the game I realized, "Hey didn't I kill people in the introduction? Those don't count against a pacifist run do they?" They do.

I think my favourite moment is the conversation with Wayne Haas, because of its subject and the music that accompanies the scene.

That moment when i realised that that first turret actually saw me and that's why "foxiest of the hounds" didnt show up in the end. And yes, saving Malic IS achievable on hard without getting spotted.

I got by that turret by stacking boxes in front of it. It doesn't get alerted in you're careful. Once I realized I had failed my pacifist run, however, I abandoned all efforts at being stealthy.

i did almost all achieves on my first run, except that and the one that needs upgrade weapon to the max (was selling all stuff due to pacifist)

Ok, I'll reword it. It's very amusing to go to achievements section straight away, read all of them, potentially spoil the game, make a plan for unlocking (almost) all of them in one playthrough, proceed according to the plan.

I'm not afraid of "spoilers", and i luv making plans, but you may be right, some gamers just play the other way

Completed Pacifist Run on 2nd time of playing the game. Pretty easy tho, except Malik saving.

Like: Wayne conversation

Dislike: Missing Link DLC. Annoying piece of junk.

I really loved this game. I hated the ending "push a button" thing. Complete BS. Also wish it would have been longer. Ah well.
Favourite part? Hacking into Pritchard's PC. He had the best email conversation that had me laughing so hard. If you didn't hack his PC, either go back and do it or just google it.

Yeah, if not for my failed run fiasco the ending buttons would be my least favorite part.

i liked when he discovers he is actually a android.. oh wait, i never played DeuSex HR :)
i dislike the fact that the title of the game has a subliminal, when you read it, it sounds like Deu Sex, and that's no coincidence, those are two words that shouldn't stay together, it's just wrong.

One of my favorites is the boss fight with Namir. Wait until he starts climbing up one of the walls, then use a melee takedown on him while his hands aren't free. He's probably cloaked while climbing up, but there's still some visual queues that make this easy enough, and it makes the takedown animation that much more satisfying.
Seems they took that out in the Director's Cut version, but I've yet to play that one so I can't confirm.

I loved when you were by the very end and enemies couldn't start an alarm. It was a great fun watching Adam double takedowning bands of like 10 people.

Fact 1: I never used Typhoon during the game. NEVER. I just didn't realize how powerful is that thing.

Fact 2: I really didn't like the story, with that illuminati crap and boring, easy-to-forget characters.

Fact 3: I can't understand all those people that were bitching about Mass Effect 3 ending ("hurr durr, no consequences of what you did in the game, just press the button and watch one of three exactly the same cutscenes") but DIDN'T SAY A SINGLE WORD about DX:HR ending, which had exactly the same sins like ME3.

Fact 4: Despite 5/10 storyline, I have to say that gameplay was absolutely fantastic, 10/10.

I would have used the Typhoon more often, but it felt like it would trivialize boss fights.

Actually, there are differences between ME3 and DEHR endings.
1) In ME3 you see exactly same voiceless sequences in endings. DEHR has 4 different monologues with different scenes.
2) Also, each of endings in DEHR has slightly different monologues depending if you were a bastard or nice guy - ME3 doesn't care at all, none of your decisions during the game have any effect.
3) ME3 was supposed to finish series, but good endings leave gamers with lots of questions (like for example, does Krogans again rebel because of overpopulation? what happens to your teammates after that game? Something similar to Dragon Age 1 or Fallout New Vegas, where you get few lines about future - even if later sequels don't cover those endings at all). DEHR had it easier, as there's DE1, so monologues could focus on other things.

Least favorite is the fight with what's-her-face, which is cheap without electricity resistance. That, and even with it it's not very interesting fight against a character with no personality.
Favorite: Something, something, death and taxes. Confucius.

Favorite moment?? THE WHOLE FUCKING GAME

No, really, my favorite moment was when the terrorist attack happens at Sarif Industries, and Jensen gets mortally wounded. Then, thanks to the augs he "comes back to life", but he realizes that Megan and her whole team are dead, and he can't help but keep working for Sarif. Second best moment is when he finds out that Reed and the others are still alive but caught and he must free them.

God, such an epic game

Yeah, I'm totally agree with you. But if I must mention one golden moment, when jensen try to use his augment to faridah. Her reaction and jensen's? Priceless, Faridah, Beta as Fuck. More?

When jensen storm to Tong's hideout, did you remember what he said?

Tong: "You disappoint me, Jensen. I thought we were friends. But then my hacker goes missing, you break into my place of business, half my men end up dead, and you don't even have the manners to knock when you enter a room."

Jensen asked if he followed, his answer?

Jensen: "Yeah, by a clown and a midget for a while. But they eventually met the bearded woman they were looking for near a coffee shop and we went our seperate ways."

First 15 minutes?

Pritchard: "Oh, and by the way, Jensen? I know you've gone through a lot of physical changes of late, but you didn't become a woman. Stay out of the ladies restroom."

Too long take a detour in first mission?

THAT FRICKIN TERRORIST KILL ALL HOSTAGES, THEN SWAT BITCHING

Seriously.... I can't mention all my favorite moment here. It'll be I retelling all DXHR.

EVERYBODY, Adam Jensen, man of peace.

I liked how they gave you a plasma rifle then no enemies to use it on because the game ended 5 minutes later.

The first half was incredible then they just dropped the ball and I ended up hating it.

Something bugged me right in the beginning. You go on your first mission and Sarif asks you a few questions to decide which single weapon to give you for the mission. Then the DLC kicks in and gives you shotguns, rifles, rocket launchers and anything you can imagine, so you get out of the helicopter with enough room left in your inventory for 2 candybars and 1 case of ludonarratile dysfunction. It would have made so much more sense to have those waiting for you when you got back.

Screw this game. Seriously. I went through the entire game pacifist, without knowing that the people in the intro they tell you to kill invalidates the achievement.

They don't actually ask you to kill them. You are asked to investigate the disturbance in the laboratiories.

It doesnt explicitly say that you need to kill them, but from what I remember, it's the tutorial section and they basically tell you how to shoot you gun and such.

"Pacifist
Complete Deus Ex: Human Revolution without anyone dying by your hand. (Boss fights do not count.)"
Thats what i meant. Anyone but bosses. But i can imagine how frustrated you were, towards the end i was all like "i totally killed someone and didn't reload, oh please no".
By the way i lied, i forgot that i did the second walkthrough on easy to get the books, missed 1 in the middle of the first.

Thrashing Namir after deliberately handicapping myself with the LIMB upgrade, on max difficulty!

The challenge of the fight, coupled with vengeance against the one responsible for Adam's current state, made that moment pretty epic and satisfying! The Tyrants have fallen!

There were so many other good moments in this game! When Pritchard actually shows concern for Adam at Panchaea, and Adam is surprised that he's "going soft on him"! Also, the one time where Adam actually retracts his DeusSpecs on meeting Megan, showing how deeply he still cares for her and he's not completely without emotion!

Of course, my least favourite moment would be the part when Adam gets his ass whooped by Namir in the beginning of the game!

It is one of my favorite game of all time B-) So I loved everything about it.

Fav moment: The fight with that weird chick. I had invisibility and electrical resistance, so it was purely a spy vs spy fight xD And the music was awesome too.

Worst moment: Losing pacifist achievement because of the introduction :/
