I know, 7k games is ridiculous! Yet I can't stop collecting more and more...

I would've never imagined it would escalate this much when I got my first game, CS:S on April 26th, 2006...

What was your first game on Steam?

Cuphead
Dishonored 2

It's funny because i never bothered checking my purchase history before.

Steam says Half Life Platinum Pack in December 2003, but i'm pretty sure the first steam game i played was CS 1.6 aswell. I believe Aztec or Assault was the first map for me, oh the memories...

Thanks for the awesome GAs and big congratz for the 7K, crazy collection you got there! :)

SteamLeft says it'd take me 19395 continuous hours or 2 years, 78 days, 3 hours and 19 minutes to complete my Steam library. (Which equals watching the Indiana Jones series 2419 times)

27 Mar, 2004 Half-Life Platinum Pack

You're welcome!

I got the Half-Life Platinum Pack in 2009 pretty much randomly. I obtained the Half-Life Generation on ebay and tried one of the CD keys for fun and was surprised it actually worked and granted me the Platinum pack. Soon after I started buying all the Half-Life Generation copies for trading and giveaways lol

Thank you! :-)

I had my copy reserved at Gamemania so I was sure I would have a copy. :-)

My second install was: 27 Mar, 2004 Condition Zero

Well, I was late to the party and got all my copies 2nd hand. Never played the Steam version of Condition Zero, only the non-Steam version my brother got, and all I remember are the assassination missions (very blurry tho)

I was somewhat late to the party too because I could have installed Steam the year before 2004 but I held of because I thought then that Steam was DRM like Starforce and Securom.

(very blurry tho)

Either these games are getting old or we aren't getting any younger or both. :-)

Though old doesn't mean less fun!

But I can feel it everyday, I'm getting old... And I'm only 24...

Don't worry, I haven't either ;). I've only played a part of the first game, I don't have lots of time and I want to focus on playing my wins first so I'm making very slow progress.

I can't remember that far back as to the game, it was either CS:GO, DotA 2 or Portal. Leaning towards the latter.
I'm still shooting for 2K games, but I've slowed down dramatically this past year.
Congrats.

2K Games released some really good games! ba-dum-tss

Once I reached 2k, things started to go quite fast. Steam introduced cards, cards lead to farming, farming lead to profit, profit lead to more games, more cards, more farming, more profit, and here I am :')

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I immediately thought of that as I wrote it. Haha.
Yeah, I've farmed a lot end of last year, but just left all my cards up for sale. I need to reload all the cards to update pricing so they can be sold again. It just takes time, which I don't have much of lately. Farming is an obsessive job. :)

I was running scripts to farm cards on a server, thus at some point I idled 24/7 for about 9 months straight. I'm using a modified version of Steam Economy Enhancer to list new cards and relist overpriced ones, all I have to do is accept the market listings via mobile confirmation.
