So you think it's cool?

Hell yeah!
Heck no
OMG it's out already? Haven't watched yet.
What are you talking about?

I think its pretty cool. Dave Filoni does a good job directing. My only gripe is how they wrote the main character. He just seems too clumsy for a Mandalorian warrior

He probably didnt received much training since the Empire probably didnt allow Mandalore to have an army

Very solid debut, i got great vibes. I didn't know what to expect going from movies to series but i think Jon Favreau nailed it, potential is here and the future is exciting.

I've only seen the first episode yet, which was good and promising. For a pilot. It has potential to become better than most Star Wars movies.

Ep1 was great for creating the setting. Quick paced but obviously a pilot.
That's what made it quite odd that in ep2, you're left with the feeling that not really that much happened, it was just a bite size candy with it's 31minute run time and my major gripe: we learnt something completely retarded about spaceship construction.

Haven't watched the second yet but I felt that with the first episode that nothing much happened, bountyhunter gets his target, something something with 2 animals, some shooting with a droid, the end.

With Star Trek (well maybe except Discovery which was the Michael show) it was always around several people, i think it could be a pitfall if you have a show that is situated around 1 person.

In my opinion both parts was similar. Maybe first was more interesting because it was something new + contract negotiations and more words used (in ep2 there was very little of talking ;) ). But to be honest in both not much happened. It is caused by short time (30 minutes episodes witch is lower then average tv series) + they try to extend "action" (or rather slow tempo + work with a camera) <-- if you will try to describe the story of 2 episodes (1h of time) there are not so much to explain :).
To be honest I saw what kind of tv series it will be after 1 episode, but anyway I will watch it as I like sf settings and movies/stories anyway.

And about retarded space travel. Not sure what you mean, but you have to remember that Star Wars is more like a fairy tale in sf setting (more fiction less science comparing to average). You can not watch it and be totally serious about some things. But if you accept situations when you can repair totally broken ship with some random person then everything will be possible (by retarded you mean this thing or some other? - if this I can agree that in this situation it is a very fairy-tale setting but if you look on movies it is also inside StarWars setting :) ).

It's about 27 minutes even if you don't count the long credits. Very short.
