Last week i created some giveaways but i had to request a new winner in one of them (he won the same game in another giveaway).
I think this is the first time i do it after 190 giveaways so i don't know how long it takes getting a new winner. I requested it 5 days ago :/

Hum strange, these get resolved pretty quickly.

Well, is it clear which of the keys your winner has activated? That means, did they state that they activated the other giveaway-key, so you can re-roll yours?
or:
Is it clear, that you haven't send the key, yet, but they already have the game in their steam-account?

Support may just not know which one of the giveaways should be re-rolled. The best way would be, if the winner stated which of the giveaways should be re-rolled or which key they have already activated.

The winner told me he won the same game in another giveaway and he activated the another key before sending my key so i didn't click 'send key', i saw he already had the game in his library so i requested a new winner.

Hm, then I don't really know what could be wrong with your ticket :/

oh lets see.. probably 200 re-rolls in the 20k copy of sleeping valley, probably 75 re-rolls in the 5k artificial defense, probably another 75 in the other 5k artifical defense, probably still another 100 in the wrath of annas... i wonder what is wrong with tickets? :P

edit: oh yea, forgot about all the rogue operatives too ;)

Ha, jeah I kind of thought that it could be, that there is just a high amount of re-roll requests :D
I never pay attention to these dev gibs, so I'm not sure if there are more than usual.

Hum, stats say there are 266 unresolved RNW-tickets in queue.

I think I never had to wait more than a day for an answer to a re-roll request

yeah, i think they edited the shit out of one ticket with re-roll requests though.. one dev was saying it was overwhelming how many re-rolls requests he was getting this time.

Hm, I'd actually assume that in general a lot of these dev-key-gifter just say:
"Heck, just mark as 'not receivd' and do whatever you want with the key. It's too much work for me to ask for re-rolls!"

Maybe there was also a bundle that had a game in it, that was given away in a mass giveaway? That would then explain an increase in individual RNW-tickets.

Well, maybe support is even more understaffed right now.

some devs come here literally just to drop a mass batch of keys and never look back or care, yeah.. but the cple of devs that have been active lately are regulars here on SG who are always doing some kinda GAs & are apart of the community just the same as us.

yes, that is exactly what happened, they went live in i believe the groupees bundle right after the devs setup the GAs and people bought it but forgot to remove their entries. as well as both devs did the same kind of keys, so several dual wins too.

afaik they really are understaffed, or they are constantly joking about it.. but i don't think it's a joke as many times as ive seen them say it.

Well, also for SG regulars it's quite a bit of work to request re-rolls and since they would just lose giveaway slots from their unlimited contingent... .

Jeah support is surely understaffed, but maybe some of those few that still do the work do a break right now, too. :>

This is the first time i request a reroll but i had to tell the creator of a giveaway to ask for a new winner a couple of times because i already got the game of the giveaway, and as you say it only took some hours, that's why i'm asking.

Support is busy (also in RL) and it takes much longer now to have a reroll (first hand information) :)

My giveaway ended 5 days ago and my request for a new winner was finally approved last night.
The first time I asked for a re-roll it was approved within a few hours. That was 5 months ago. I guess support is too busy currently.

Used to be from 5 minutes to 2 hours, but now there is so few support left that it is more like from half a day to almost a week…
