First things first, sorry no gift, only a thread about the game.

I want to be clear, the game is fun, the game is good and I like it, however I'm wondering if it's worth it to keep playing at this point. I've reached one of those points of "black or white" situations that I feel very negative for a videogame. Let's see:

  • I've reached a point on where I don't have enough money to upgorade my gear, so I need to do a lot... Like a lot of missions
  • The missions are always the same. The same. And that's really boring.
  • I was focusing on the main campaign, but with my current gear and ship, I'm useless agains the enemies.

So the game, indirectly, is forcing me to 'grind' and 'farm' in the most boring and stupid way, since I'm feeling that going to another system and start making the same missions I'm doing since the first time I've played it's extremely discouraging.

Did you experienced the same with RG? Is this only my perception or the game is too repetitive in the side quest part?

I can't talk about RG, but many other game got incredibly unappealing the time I realized how much boring stuff do I still need to do to progress :\

Can't you do trading? I traded whenever I can in Galaxy of Fire 2, that's how I got my money. And it's appealing to always check the stores and compare prices... for me at least @_@

Problem with trading is that you need to travel a lot, got ambushed by the same ships over and over, sell the stuff and repeat the process. The game is good, has a lot of content but the grinding stuff it's too much :(

Yeah I don't really know about RG, in GoF 2 you could head directly straight to stations after warping and ignore enemy ships if you wanted (mostly)

I hit that point after buying my second ship, retreated to the original galaxy or level or whatever it's called and kept getting owned nonstop outside trading missions. Went too grindy for me. Uninstalled it back in June, haven't played since.

It is good, buuuut...
