steam badge not giving xp(?)

So I unlocked the game industry guardian badge on steam by owning more than 1k games, which (as all the other badges) also gives you a certain amount of xp/or tp, whatever you prefer

However, as far as I can tell, it didnt leveled me up or anything, even though it should have upped me at very least to level 25 and on the badge unlocking date it says unlocked at july the 1-st 2009

am I missing something or what?

I apologise for this dumb questions but I have literally no idea as to what is going on

At that point you dont get any new XP except for +1 per game or something.

i basically sold most of my cards instead of crafting them into badges

im too lazy to spend money on lv-ing up for now, will probably get to it later on
