You have glasses? I have -2.0 diopters and can play it quite well in VR without glasses (so I have optical antialiasing :-)) )... some headsets can allow wearing glasses.

Ps4 vr you can get some blocks for about 10 bucks or make them yourselves, that will give some more distance between the glass and lenses, think more like he might get nausea, some people just do. Or simply financial even getting the money for a decent rig and on top a vr set.

It looks like that you have some type of epilepsy.
Now I have read something about it + VR and I could not believe it...VR would be even worse than 3D movie for you. And I thought, that VR is safe for everyone, but it is not...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, I can.
But I have some minor problems - if you have something to read (book or any paper) with small letters, than you have to move it much closer to your face to be able to read it...
Text in game menu is always ok for me.
Maybe I do not see perfect details, but you mostly do not need them.
And games like Beat Saber, RoboRecall, Skyrim....you can play without problems.

If your vision is even worse than mine, then I recommend to try it somewhere before buying...if you can play without glasses (mostly headsets do not support glasses...and if you use them, then you can make scratches on your glasses or even on your headset)

No vr game ive played I would need my glasses. Maybe it would have made me be able to read a sign further away which aint that game changing. But my eye problems are not really bad enough I need to wear my glasses all day.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew in T3

T2 and T3 could change places if the BTA is even higher than T3. Was that your case?
I only saw it in T2 every time I refreshed the bundle page, including now.

I wish I had more time to think about it but BTA is already very close to beat T3, so I bought T3. Now I'm thinking about it.

Solid VR bundle imo. Surgeon/ job simulator should be pretty fun. I love Borderlands, but games like Raw Data have given me motion sickness, I’m a little worried BL2VR might as well

126294, Star Trek: Bridge Crew
142957, Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality
257996, Swords of Gurrah
392068, Espire 1: VR Operative
145590, Sairento VR
96021, Job Simulator
326698, Borderlands 2 VR

(for ROW. EU buyers get that absurd non-USA and no small cute countries sub of BL2VR. very harsh.)

Sairento is a fantastic VR game, worth T3 just for that.

I'm not sure. I have an Oculus Quest. The problem is I don't have any space to play connected to my PC. The only place I have space to play is in the garage, wirelessly. I primarily just play Beat Saber. I am interested in these games however, and I do plan to have my own place at some point with more space. I am interested in several of these games. Should I buy this in anticipation for the future? What if that future never comes? But what if it does and I regret not buying these VR bundles? Conundrum.

Buy them, it's a great bundle. you will regret it if you don't. Or if you have a spare router, buy virtual desktop and play them now in the garage.

I planned to get Valve Index after building a new PC, which is... a bit complicated right now. By the time GPU prices go back to normal, all these games will probably be in another bundle, or -90% on Steam... and with so many mixed-review games I'm not sure it's worth getting the bundle in advance...

With pancake games you are right but that's not gonna happen with VR games. And even if it did, with all games at 90% discount this bundle is still cheaper. This is just an amazing bundle grab it while you can!

I have a bit the same problem. I wasn't even interested in most of these games, but I lack VR games and would like to have some more.

You can play PCVR games wirelessly on your Quest though, just use either Virtual Desktop (20 bucks) or ALVR (free, but not as good and requires Sidequest to install).

It does require a solid 5ghz wifi connection of course, but can work basically as good as a cable if you do have that.

Wow, that's some impressive timing! My Oculus Quest 2 arrived just yesterday, and I see 4 wishlisted games in this bundle, easy tier 3 for me. The only issue is that Humble refuses to load for some weird reason, I guess I'll have to wait for a bit.

Beat the Average. They average how much each person spends and you have to pay that or more.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Ah, i see. So the amount will always change with time?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yep, but it tends to go up so it's usually best if you want that tier to buy it immediately after the release of the bundle. Or else, it's like a dollar difference between BTA and T3.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, it's already only 0.25 cent difference with the third tier, hahah.

MoonQueen3 already answered, but I wanted to add that usually the BTA is somewhere between the price of T1 and the price for T3 and it's calculated as the average purchase of the people who buys the bundle. More people buying T1 means a lower BTA, more people buying T3 means higher BTA. This bundle though is a special case, since for VR users it's really not worth buying T1 only and as you can see the majority of people go straight for T3, hence the very high BTA.

Usually, the BTA fluctuates a lot during the first 2h after launch - everyone tries to be around because of that, refreshing the page for a lower BTA and people report their lows on this thread, for others to have a reference.

With bundles having 4 tiers, initially the BTA tier is T2 and T3 has a set price, but it happened in the past that T2 ended up costing more than the original T3, thus swapping the tiers in the end.

Then it's again a case of the notification being wrong. It says that EU customers receive an EU-locked key, yet what they deliver is a ROW key. Thanks for the heads up.

Do you maybe know the sub? madjoki here received the EU locked one.
Also, is your Humble store country set to anything in Europe?

Comment has been collapsed.

No i dont. Yes its EU (czech rep) all da time. Some items i buy are normal EU and some this stoopid lock. (cannot be activated in 143 countries xD)
No damn idea how and why i got this useless region lock.
//ill try to buy on other acc with other IP from different ISP and other method if its same and post update here

Comment has been collapsed.

It usually depends on the billing address [country] you set in your Humble account, not the IP / ISP.

The "non-ROW" country list does not include CZ, so if you buy from CZ, you get a ROW key.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes i answered on it.. yes, everything is located to EU same as address etc, thats why i dont understand when CZ is EU why its like that

//update 2: i bought from other device, other account, other IP (czech which is EU), other ISP, other payment menthod... agin not EU copy but this fhoken one.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I don't understand the issue though.
The EU copy (sub/404084) is actually "all countries in the world can activate this except NA, LATAM, Australia, New Zealand + some Asian countries" (48 countries excluded), while the ROW one is "all countries in the world can activate this" (sub/326698).
The ROW key is superior because it has no limitations, so if I were you I would be happy to receive a ROW key instead of an EU one...

Also, if you base what you got on the gift link notification, then please know that you get the same list of countries no matter if you receive the EU package or the ROW package. The only difference is when you activate the key: for EU packages, it should say "Borderlands 2 VR (Europe)" in your licenses page, while the other one is named "Borderlands 2 VR".
