Today i got a game in the trade and of course decided to downloaded, im like halfway trought and now it says something that can be translated into "error while downloading (servers with content are not aviable". I got a mini heart attack as it is removed game but i tried install like few random games in my library like Tropico or Dishonored and all everythhing is the same. The game just doesnt start downloading and says the same thing. Im the only one who have this right now?

Just keep them queued up to download. It looks like it will automatically re-try the download every 5 minutes. Might help while you sleep. :)

i think it's independent of the game. i have the same problem with The End Is Nigh right now, and i am getting that same message for other games as well.

Maybe your steam client needs to update.
I couldn't launch a certain game as it said that the steam client needed to be running and it was running!

not saying it is the same or that it is even related.
just saying that if your steam client needs to update some things can get wonky untill you are on the latest version.

I've been having so many downloading issues with steam lately. I just keep restarting my steam or computer every time I run into an issue. Works every time :P

Got myself some dlc today and it didn't auto download despite it being selected in the settings, had to go into the "View Downloadable Content" options and un-check and re-check the INSTALL checkbox for the download to trigger.
Steam's being difficult today it seems.

the problem is the steam beta programm for the client you joined, remove it and restart steam with the normal client should solve your problems

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7021-EIAH-8669&l=german
1.) With Steam running, click on "Steam" in the upper left, then choose the "Settings" menu. (Preferences on Mac)
2.) On the "Account" tab under "Beta Participation" click the "Change..." button.
3.) Deselect or Unselect the "Steam Beta Update" from the drop down list and click "OK".
4.) You will be prompted to restart Steam, please select the "Restart Steam" button.
