Valve have finally decided to abandon their plans to permanently damage everyone's eyesight. In the latest Steam client patch notes, there is this little note:

- Increased font size in chat to improve readability

And holy moly, it's true! It only took them well over five years to fix it, but it's finally here! Now your eyes will hurt ever-so-slightly less while squinting at the text. Maybe in another five years, Valve will let us just CHOOSE the font size for ourselves. A man can dream...
