Have you?
i upgraded my dad pc to check w10 and what it is worth. Actually, i like the interface better than the 8, and less than the 7. i don't know what bug there will be as it just got out so i won't install it on my personnal PC especially since i don't have any problem with my seven. I may do it in the future when direct x 12 will go out, and maybe just before the "free year" end

Its good so far, few of my friends are talking about performance boosts and all(obviously not that huge but a bit better than win 8.1), its definitely not worse, performance wise, atleast from what I have seen.
As far as the MS spying on you goes, I use hotmail, skype both owned by Microsoft and use a mobile phone which basically allows the government to know my location and trace my calls, so yeh not much to hide in the 21st century and that's the way it is whether you like it or not.

I work in IT-service and upgraded two of my own devices with different ways (icon there, icon missing), first to experience what it's like and tell customers, second to experience what I have to charge for upgrading customers devices to windows 10, since I already had inquiries before the official release.
My main pc will follow in a few months though

Theres an option to rush it which is good if u didnt reserve it.

If u use this link, remember to unblock the download or else the error screen will say "something happened". Most useful error screen hehe

You are one with the penguin
I am not a huge fan of Windows but I love my games to much so until Nvida,AMD and Publishers do better with the so called Penguin,i will not any time soon be switching.

out of my 2505 games on steam, I have 670 with a native Linux support + if you have arms growing in the right place, you can get like up to 75% games working on Linux using wine emulator. of course, AAA titles you most likely won't be a able to launch in emulator, especially if they need higher directx without possibilty to use lower version, but if you want to play something not so AAA, Linux is pretty fine with it.

Only sadly AMD drivers for Linux are about as handy as a one legged man in in an ass kicking contest.
Since Nvidia does have pretty good drivers, but still not all the game i want are Linux so it just easier to have them on windows.
I would do Steam OS since i could dual boot but again AMD drivers are not so hot,and i am not buying a new video card just for that since they work just fine on windows.
Maybe with Steam OS and Stream Machines this will take off and the next card i buy maybe i will take that into more thought, but i usually get the card that gives me the best bang for the buck.

To run the os yes,but to play games not so much, and not all of my games so it still not enough for me to switch.Just to much of a hassle to say i want to play Game A but it only run decent on windows then i would have to switch OS just to play a game.'
Like i said we will see how well this SteamOS thing works out maybe if it a big hit more publishers will work on games for it and AMD will make better drivers.
I know if i had Nvidia it seems like SteamOS would be a great option for games that support it but AMD struggles with a lot games, that would explain why on launch of Steambox from Valve will only be shipping with Nvidia
I am sure you enjoy using Linux and that is all that matters, like i said if most of my games worked fin with it i would not have a problem but since a lot do not at this point it is a deal breaker

i do play games. as i do have integrated graphics as well, i do use them mostly, but amd card works great for games as well. if you can't run games through wine, you might want to play around with settings.

I was curious, then I saw most people have some problems playing Killing Floor 2 on Win 10... Nope, not even a question, at least until it's fixed.

Yeah, just did a quick search after you said that and a hotfix has apparently been released 2 days ago... Now I'm wondering even more if I upgrade or if I stay to my good old 7...

Well you could dual boot, also you have 30 days to roll back if something goes a miss.
I will be dual booting until I know everything I want to use will work fine on Windows 10 but I did give it a test drive and so far I like it,it more like windows 7 but has the nice features of 8 and an actually decent desktop.
So I will be updating to Windows 10 on another hd so I can can fall back to 7 if needed or use either one at will, but so far I think I will do pretty good with running most my games on 10

because it may be better (not saying it is, it's too soon for me personally to decide, like it so far, but not sure if more than Win7).
I had the same mentality over Win7 - I was satisfied with my XP so why should I even bother switching. Tried Win7 over 3 years afterrelease and if I knew how it was in the first place I surely wouldn't wait these 3 years ;)

Installed it on one of my machines and so far I'm quite satisfied. But it's too short to decide yet if I prefer it over good old Win7, so will test it for few weeks before I decide if I will update my main to 10. GPU in my main station doesn't support DX12 anyway so not really a big rush here, will just decide which one I like better user and performance-wise.

I've just installed, came from Windows 7 and had no problems with it, works great and Microsoft Edge, though it has no extensions, works really great!
They have to polish some configurations, but I feel liek they're going on the right way :)

Do you really can't comprehend what are private thing you hold on your PC? This must be some troll attemp and therefore I won't reply more to you.
If somehow you aren't trolling I'm not here to lead you by hand like little child. Google is your friend, it's not up to me if you want or don't want to willingly share your data with big companies just because you are to lazy to read service agreements.

I'm not trolling, I want you to reflect about your arguments. I advice you to google a bit about data. Data is just a word, but there is nothing as "private data" or "my data".
Data itself has no owner, that's my point.
No matter which services you use, you always have the risk that the data you provide (see the difference to "my data") is taken and misused. So either you stop being paranoid about big companies having interest in your - for them - meaningless life or you stop using any services. Sorry but I'm really fed up with the misconception of data present in politics and society.

I will download it in a few weeks when some of the shit gets ironed out.

Didn't upgrade from 7 to 10, and not planning on doing so.
Windows 7 works fine for me, and I'm used to it. Windows 10 might be all new and shiny, but I really can't see any good reason to upgrade at the moment.

Will upgrade as soon as i get the upgrade ready notification.

I tried it on amd gpu and it worked even better then before (in win 8.1)

I upgraded my secondary PC. What I noticed was that Windows 10 kinda heavily promotes using a Windows account and that it wants to send a lot of user information to Microsoft. Kind of similar to Google and Apple on phones and tablets, so I guess this stuff is common nowadays.
I'm glad there is a start menu but I don't quite like the looks of it and will probably customize my interface with deskmods like Fences and Classic Shell again, like I did on Windows 7.

For everyone who is going to say that this post is exactly like the other window 10 posts, this one was solely made for the reason stated:: for people to share whether or not they will be upgrading. Not the same thing. Also feel free to describe your experience with it so far.
