I have a plenty of games on GoG but really... tell me where you see it more "user friendly" than Steam... It is only a stupid downloader and IF you buy a multiplayer game you have to ask for the multiplayer cd key via email...

Some time ago you said that you can't buy games because you are poor and you begged for games and now you say that you will buy BF3 if it would be on Steam?

It's already been disproved the Origin is spyware. Origin isn't that bad, it's not as good as Steam, but not horrible.

Steam - I love it. Never had a problems with it at all (I use it for like last 2 years)

Origin - I use it when/where I have to to play games (Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3). In terms of program which allows You to play games - it's fine. In terms of social..... what social? SHITTES chat ever :/

GfWL - Ghe the F out with it or I'm gonna slap Your face with it. Wors "platform" ever created. I will NEVER buy any game that require this dumb thing. NEVER. EVER.

Steam > Origin >>>>> GFWL

Origin disconected chat is very useful. But, WTF offers GFWL appart from crashes and game saves corruption?

If they not tried to force Origin on newer titles, I would be very happy with the service. You could buy a retail game and you could optionally register it on Origin.

You say that Origin forces you to use it for its newer titles , but how does this differ to all the Valve games? The likes of TF2,HL3, and Counter Strike will never be on Origin. Yes Steam is better for now , but it does have quite a head start and is much better supported for now. More competition is always better for the consumer believe it or not.

I have yet to use the two other third-party DRMs and I don't think I will because Steam is the superior third-party DRM in my opinion.

Steam has several games compared to the other two and they don't ban for silly reasons nor inspect your computer without your consent and that's good enough for me.

Ask steamgifts which is the superior gaming client.

So you are on a Steam forum........ and you are asking this question.....

Well I'm forced by habit to say Steam. I grew up with it ever since Half-Life 2 came out. I watched it grow from some annoying piece of shit that forced me to use it to play HL2 into this awesome software.

GFWL is akin to semi-runny, semi-soft crap. It works when it wants to. Granted, I didn't lose much from it(I only bought one game and I had gotten it on sale), but my god was it a pain in the ass.

No opinion on Origin. But it really pissed me off that they alienated Steam users who bought BF3 and/or ME3. The funny thing is, there's an Origin game on Steam called Warp that makes you go through the same BS as GFWL on Steam.

GFWL - Achievement System is better.

I prefer Steam, if it has achievements or cloud support + bonus. Then GFWL is ok, people have problems but I'm always able to fix my problems within 5 minutes with an easy google search. Then drm free though I don't play a lot of drm free games, then origin.

Steam > Origin > GFWL

Even though you're asking a site that is going to be mostly orientated towards steam, I can say that I've used all 3 quite a bit.
I really haven't had any serious problems with steam, its interface is non-obtrusive, I rather like its usage, as I can listen to music and such whereas I also like using Origin, even if I only have a few games on it, whilst it is decent, it is quite annoying how it tries to force you to use origin on its newer titles.

Lastly, don't even get me started on the number of problems I've encountered with GFWL, I've only a few games for GFWL, e.g Bioshock 2, and my disdain for it is great enough that I won't even think of buying any of the addons for the games I have on it, e.g Minerva's den, I've had way too many connection/installation problems with GFWL and so in my opinion its the worst gaming client available at the moment out of these 3 choices.
