Nothing to prove really other than the fact, that i'm a lucky bastard :D Tho it all comes to the fact that when i first joined sg i had about 100 games (or even less can't remember exactly), ever since then i stopped buying games for myself. I simply win them here. Being in private groups helps that a lot. One day i plan to play all the games i have in my library, just gotta finish my exams first and then i have 4 months of pure nothingness between highschool and university :D So you know, gaming all day long :3

At the moment (last 5 months), very unlucky. I was globally at +13 before the change to points system, now I am at 0, probably -1 in short. Coincidence?

Now you gain points every 15 minutes at a flat rate of 6. Earlier (until last October), you gained points equal to 5% of the entry price of every giveaway created by any user on the site. This led to some situations, when some particular bundle (very cheap but with very expensive products) came out and the site was flooded with giveaways, and, therefore, with points (sometimes, 100 or more points every 15 minutes). This, combined with the maximum amount of points (300 at the time), made people, who didn't have the time to frequently access the site, "lose" points, since they couldn't spend them as quickly as they were generated.
I actually did like the previous system, indexing the point generation to the number of giveaways was correct in my opinion. It surely needed some tweaking, some limitations. But I liked it.

I was at +7 when the year began, but I've taken a plunge these past two or three months and have dropped down to neither lucky nor unucky, until I won today and brought me back to +1.

It really depends on what you enter as well; entering massive giveaways like 100k Dwarfs copies one pretty much almost garuanteed a win. But also results in ungrateful people reposting giveaways after taking them away back in time.
Since my long hiatus, I started entering ordinary giveaways, and as a result, my luck is now going downhill.
