Hi!

Can anyone recommend me a free, simple MP3 player for Android with playlists creation feature?

Thanks!

There is a pay version to upgrade, but I think the free version should do everything you need. Good luck :)

I've been using VLC. It's the best IMO

Poweramp is really great, easy in use and fantastic quality of the sound, highly customizable too.

Give Google Play Music a chance. Downside is, you have to upload your music to google first, and it has to be properly tagged or everything will get messed up.
But the big advantage is, that you have the same playlist available on all your devices. If you get a new phone, you can just download your playlists again.
The App itself is okay. I've seen worse ;) It has the option to enqueue a song directly after the current one, without messing up your playlist. A really great thing, that not many music players seem to offer.

Upload my music to Google? Ops, I'm not sure about that... Anyways, I'll have a look, thank you! ;)

You don't have to upload music anywhere. At least I didn't have to. It just detects music on your phone as any regular music player does.

I just use the default google play. Is there some reason I should not?

Same here. Then again I either just shuffle all of my music tracks or play them on per-album basis and that's some basic functionality so I don't need anything else.

Stellio, it's free with ad supported:

I also add the material skin from market.

I've been using Poweramp full version for 4 years, recently switched to this one, quite happy so far.

I use aePlayer. It's ad free and amazing and also free.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.s2apps.player

I paid for the full version of Poweramp but I feel like ae sounds better with my headphones.

Edit Also I need a player that has a decent widget, which both these apps have.
