What is the most disappointing game you've ever played?

Final Fantasy XIII...I still cry some nights thinking about it.

Homefront, it's just SO bad and the worst part is that the concept is great and the beginning of the game is geniunely affecting and disturbing. Too bad about the absolutely moronic characters, almost claustrophobic levels, horrendous scripting and poor visual/performance balance.

Dangerous Waters

Skyrim.Everyone and their Dogs were like "omgz gaem so awsum!" and after playing it for 5 Hours it just felt like every TES game.Empty,dull and repetive without the feeling of real progress.

World of Warcraft, I tried it for like 2 months, bought all the expansions etc. only to find guilds stuffed with over 500 members with only about 20 people being online, of which very few were ever up for a chat, dungeon finders pairing you with randoms so there was never any point for interaction... might as well have been a single player game !

Disappointing because I was really hyped up for it.

Blades of Time.

Spore and Dirt:Showdown.

The first because I think it was a deceptive marketing product. It was advertised with a lot of feature that are not in the final game.
Dirt Showdown, on the other hand, although I didn't have any expectations, it was a big disappointment. A game where all in all rewards more the luck than the skill. Sure, with a bit of time you can get skilled, but the overall impression is that you can do all with luck, especially the single player part.

Witcher 1 and 2

Assassin's Creed 3...

ME3 of course, but I liked the indoctrination theory, it was made by the fans but still, it got you involved in the ending - whereas AC3 was disappointing from the odd, extremely linear beginning, to the horrible endgame...

Bad Rats... I was expecting it to be far worse than it was after all of the hype built up on here.

Bought Brink for PS3, multiplayer died in a few weeks.

TES IV Oblivion, after playing hours of Morrowind, Oblivion felt ... generic, and the oblivion gates were annoying and very repetitive

Prototype series, NFS Pro Street, Hell Forces.
While I was able to play Prototype for about 2-3 hours, 20 minutes of my time for Pro Street and Hell Forces are more than those games deserve.

Fallout 3. Pure unadultered shit.
