Just Cause 2 for $5 on GamersGate!

Crap... I've heard great things about this game too :(

I don't want to buy it but I would feel stupid not buying it!

This game is awesome. The campaign is just OK, but 90% of the time you'll just want to walk/drive/fly around shooting and destroying stuff... :D

I bought this game when it was on sale trough GamersGate during the summer (unfortunately I didn't have a computer with Windows 7 at the time so I couldn't actually play it until September). This game is worth well more than $5, hell I'd say it's still worth more than $20. The best way I can explain this game is that it's like a perfected version of Mercenaries...but 1000 times better (and Mercenaries was pretty good imo). I have absolutely no idea how long the actual story is because even though I've put 25 hours into the game, I've managed to only complete the first story missions (the ones that you have to do before being able to do anything else). The gameplay is amazingly simple at its core, but it can take quite a while before you find all the fun ways you can blow stuff up or kill people.
As a side note: I personally would recommend playing this with a controller if you have one.

I hate Gamers Gate, you have to make a PayPal account to use your credit card? WTF?

I call this game a "Michael Bay Action Simulator".

On a more serious Note: I have clocked 83 hours into it while unlocking every single achievement. And the Graphics are really cool and you can kinda "feel" the explosions you set up. It is a sandbox game though, if you cannot motivate yourself for making up your own goals and can seek our own fun without beeing guided by the game, it is not for you.

But, for 5 bucks, this game is a steal.

Is complete edition redeemable on Steam?

How about the first Just Cause game? It could also be redeemed at Steam?

I'm ok missing this game for now, I'm too busy enjoying Oblivion! :D:D:D

Even though I already have waaaaay too many games that I haven't played yet, I've been looking at Just Cause 2 for a while, and based on everyone's recommendations, I went ahead and bought it. Hope it's as good as I'm expecting when I finally get around to playing it :P

Yeah, $5 is too good a deal to pass up. Plus I loved mercenaries, great time waster.

yes it is a great deal but Just Cause 2 like Metro 2033 is always on sale.
