Invent purpose and meaning. It's what people do. Find something you like and dedicate yourself to the cause, until you find something you like more. If you don't like much, try something new until you find something you like. Or just do random things for the sake of adventure and learning new things. Stagnation is a waste of limited time - thinking is all well and good, but only when it's balanced with action and sharing, which causes change. You can guide changes only if you carefully plan and execute, and you can only plan if you know yourself well and recognize you can improve or alter yourself with practice. Start small, don't plan to change the world - that only comes through a weird mix of passion and luck. But start something - it'll lead to new opportunities, if you can recognize and react to them.
