So, if somebody knows how to increase the Dedicated video memory of a laptop, pls just let me know..
i have a HP laptop pavilion notebook
I have 8GB ram, and i have just 128 MB DVM... and i should have 1024 MB
Thanks in advance if somebody can help me.. :/

Yeah man thats what i tried to do all the day, and i think i dont have that on my BIOS, i have all options just that one i dont... its normal? i mean just 128 MB for 8GB its so bad

i don't know if and how it's possible with your notebook and graphics card. i just wanted to say that it's not necessarily impossible, as sighery implied. i have a setting for that in my bios, for example. if you want a specific answer for your specific notebook, maybe you should tell us the exact name. ;)

What laptop and what CPU? The system could manage VRAM on its own depending on system use, plus several mobile chips are severly limited on their maximum VRAM.

Yes. Your problem doesn't exist. It has 128 MB dedicated RAM for normal operations and shares 2-8 GB of your system memory (depending on its size, usually 4 GB) dynamically, depending on the current needs. If you want to run a game or a VRAM-using program on it, the system will allocate it based on the need.
