Nope, just head to the trades section and for example, try to buy a CS:GO key with $2.1 PP, and then you sell this key in the market and you get steam wallet which you can use immediately.

And assuming this thread is a continuation from the backgrounds one where someone discovered the possibility of profit in certain types of badges lemme just clarify that if you buy cards on the market and use them to craft badges the cards, backgrounds and emoticons they'll give you will be untradable/unsellable for 7 days(unless something changed while I was hidden in my hole and haven't realised)

It means that assuming you have a week for the new phone to come, another week for the authenticator hold and then another week for the trade/sell block of those items to be lifted you'll miss the rush and the sales. Prices always inflate before and deflate later so plan accordingly
