Does it exist? Or is there only trading sites when it comes to the cards?
I can't be the only person who thinks every 2 card giveaways should = 1 point (and each card cost 1p to enter.

Of course the cards value will determine the points, I was just showing that it would be possible to earn part of a point or require bundling of cards to get to the 1p rounded down probably. Also if anyone knows of steam groups where they do card giveaways feel free to list them

Problem with card giveaways is with "redeeming". Gifts are easy - either you have game in library or not. With cards it's much harder. Maybe if it were whole "badges giveaways", but it feels like way too much work for really little effect.

I think this is a very interesting idea but I feel like a lot of people would sell the cards.

Edit: Also exactly what psyko said.

Trade your cards for games to give away if you want CV :)

Cards cost $0.03 for some right? So it's about $0.06 for 1 CV. So roughly $0.96 worth of cards = $16 worth of CV. I can just see people CV farming. :/

Unless that's not what you're trying to say. lol

Well, on buyer's part they cost 0.05/0.06 min (lowest I came across) and there are quite a few normals that worth 0.15-ish.

There is a system setup for trading cards. You donate cards and each card has a different value depending on the popularity of the card. You then get credits to use for getting other cards. http://www.steamcardexchange.net/

That system seems no better, and is quite probably worse, than merely selling the cards you don't want and buying the ones you do.

it is a little in my opinion as well, you avoid steam tax just to throw on third party tax + more time xD

There is no third-party tax. And, unless the bot is swamped with requests, I usually complete a trade in less time that it takes to actually sell a card on the market.

It's much better actually, assuming they have the card you want. The value is based on the last x sales a card has had (they normalize value between a set) so it's often the only way to get 1:1 within same set. Even amongst different sets, you avoid the Valve fees by using the bot.

The cards value is based on the price amount of transactions in the community market.
