Hey there!

I've seen a lot of giveaways and it seems like the Odds are calculated differently for each one. Logically, a giveaway which has 100 entrants should give each entrant 1% chance to win, right? However, this is not the case here on steamgifts

Can someone explain If there is something Im missing?

Thanks!

Why is that not the case? You do have 1% chance to win.

i give 92 games, and win 134,so to me SG looks more than honest and i feel if 100 people enter every 1 have chance to win, same you say 1%,so for my opinion you wrong to think that is not 1%.
it's normal then that if someone create giveaway for level 10 and only 5 people enter, this 5 people has more chance to win than the people that have level 0 and can't enter, same can be said for groups.

Then i'm not expert of sg,math, dev, hacker etc. i talk just as a gamer and normal user maybe it's just my stupid idea, but it is what i feel.

Luck Per Month

You can also open this URL and think about whether you are lucky or bad luck.

If you participate in a gift with few participants, the winning rate will be better as well.
For those, you may need to resolve PUZZLE or join a specific group.

In most cases, it is a problem that it will be solved if it is good to do it.👀

These type of odds is what Im referring to:

Why would I have 0.093% odds with 69 people? 100 / 69 = 1,449% which is not 0.093%

or yet again, am I doing something wrong? :D

Which scripts are you using?

I assume you use a script, that tries to estimate the number of entries when the giveaway ends and give you that odds.
