Looking at the steamcommunity homepage a few minutes ago, an article was plastered on the front relating to The Talos Principle.
Apparently, it would seem that The Talos Principle 2 was mentioned as "is going to happen" at Nordic Games.

As further proof, it was indeed Retweeted on the Croteam Twitter Account.
Either some crazy trolling there, it they may indeed have something up their sleeves for the future. Else we have no other information such as when, whether its already in development, or so forth.

Aside from the poll, what are your thoughts? Have you played The Talos Principle, does it even need a sequel? What of the Road to Gehenna DLC?
In my personal case, I won it here on SG actually. Have played through the first three "levels" I do believe, but ended up taking an extended break after going backtracking to do the Grey Puzzle Pieces, and failing miserably. Several.dozen.times. I will go back to it eventually, but otherwise haven't seen the ending.

I bought it when it was on sale with a coupon, but haven't played it yet. But it looks interesting and has great reviews.

Bought the game, when it got released, and it was amazing. It instantly became my second favourite puzzle game (the first is Portal 2, obviously Elohim can't beat GLaDOS). Bought The Prototype Levels DLC and Road to Gehenna (plus got Serious DLC for free), but I wasn't able to play them yet. I'm really looking forward to the second installment, but I hope that they won't run out of creativity, and that they will add enough new items to be worthy to be called The Talos Principle 2, and not just 1.5

I hope they drop the pseudo philosophy and focus on the puzzles. Storywise these guys are obviously limited to whatever Serious Sam says.

I still haven't got a chance of playing the first one, but it's been on my wishlist for a long time.
Sadly, with the unification of EU prices, we EU2 users got f***ed up, as it went from 19,99€ to 39,99€, so it'll be a while 'til it get under 5€ again...

On a side note, aren't they also making Serious Sam 4? Would they be able to keep up with both?

Great! I haven't played the 1st one but it seems like the previous game was a success, I'm glad to hear that :)

I wouldn't exactly say that the game is open to a sequel all that well for... reasons (play it all the way to find out). I mean, I could see a way or two on how that could be done but they'd have to be really clever with it if they want it to have a similar impact as the first one. Nonetheless, I wouldn't mind just playing more (still waiting for the Road To Gehenna DLC to go cheap enough for me to overcome my stinginess). :D
