So... steam is on a free trial on this game, i see this one group giveaway with magicka in it, 5 entries only and i can't join this damn thing because of this free trial time.

Anyone know a way to work around this? It's annoying me because i could win it, making it 2 wins in 1 day... :D

You will have to wait til the free trial is over, then you need to sync your account.

what yatter said. while magicka is on free weekend, everyone "owns" it. if you sync your account during one, you won't be able to enter. when the weekend is over, you can re-sync and it's gone from your account.

And what if this giveaway will be closed before the free weekend is ended?

They really should fix this

I agree but it's a tricky problem to fix. During the free trial, every single Steam account is marked as owning the game since they don't just give you a demo, but rather access to the entire game for a weekend.

Anybody know - i already bought Magicka collection
i want to buy more copies for friends
If i will buy four-pack to myself - i will lost one code or receive all 4 of them?
If i will buy four-pack "for gift" - i will receive 4 gift codes (1 for each copy) or 1 code for whole pack?

You can't buy the 4 pack at all if you already own the game. Only two games right now accept the purchase and the gifting of the entire four pack. Hoard and Booster Trooper. There might be more.

if you trust any of your friends, send them the money through Paypal and let them purchase the 4 pack. Extra gifts takes 90 days before they are tradable. Of course you would be doing this at your own risk.
