Will you get it?

If Steam has a good sale on it I might get it otherwise I will pass. I already have the D&D Anthology, NWN Complete collection, and the AD&D collector's edition. In otherwards I have D&D games fairly well covered without getting an enhanced version. At least the pre-4th ed ones. ;)

Is the GamersGate DnD anthology pack the same versions as the GOG DnD games? I've read that before, but I'm not sure if it's true. Someone said that the publisher can distribute the GOG versions to other retailers like GG.

BGEE has extra content that didn't exist until this version. A few new NPCs and a new quest line. The info is on the store page.

I think that the the GOG versions should be the same as what's in the Anthology with the only difference being that they are selling them individually instead of in one big pack. Cheeseburgermafia is right though that Baldur's Gate Enhanced edition is not on GOG nor is it part of the Anthology. The Enhanced edition does have some additions not originally part of the game.

I don't even care that it's $20, I have plenty of games sitting in my inventory I could trade for it, and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Personally, I'll wait for BG I and II EE to be released on a pack a year or two down the line, and a 50% off at least.

Yes. Now bring Baldur's Gate 2 and Neverwinter Nights 1 on Steam and my life will be complete.

Nope, been there, done that (like 100 times, both BG1 & BG2 back in the last millenium :)
Will turn to new (but good) games with this little spare time that I have.
But BG-s are one of the best RPGz ever...
Yeah, old school style (had to say this:)

No and no. I'm against those re-releases. I find them lazy, and... pointless. I mean really, using BG2 art sprites? Just what is the point? I love BG2 (didn't like BG1), and i still don't understand the point of it (Besides "WE NEED MONEI NAO")

Witcher games has enhanced editions. Thats how you do it.
But I won't call this an enhanced edition. It still needs a lot of patching.

Is there anyone who already owns this who knows if the game still has all of the same cheat functions that it used to? Turning invisible and summoning an army of hostile ahkhegs around a co-op partner never got old for me.

I'm sticking with my modded GOG copy of the complete saga, too.
