it might be Robot Arena II, I found the a gameplay video of it. I guess the full name of it is Robot Arena II: Design and Destroy. Release date February, 2003

I thought the name of the game is Robotica at first (cause there was a tv show about it called Robotica) but there is another game with that name.

Many years ago there was a game I played on my 486 DX 33 (yes that many years ago), where you designed a robot (Chassis, wheels, motor, weapons, armour and power supply), from a list of parts etc, then put them into an arena and fought against an NPC or over a LAN/IPX connection with your friends.
I was watching last season of battlebots this afternoon and one of my sons asked if we could make one - I told him not really, but there was a game where he could. I spent a fair chunk of the evening searching for it, but had no luck.
The only one I could find was the BattleBots licensed game by THQ that was cancelled due to the studio folding...uh sorry - the "Acquisition" by Nordic games (Now THQ Nordic).
Anyone remember what it was called?
