Just keep an eye on the puzzles and pay attention when they're over and the solutions are given. You'll probably pick up a trick here and there that will help in the future. Other than that, just go at it like you would any sort of puzzle. Good luck, and welcome to SteamGifts!

Assuming this isn't a troll post: a lot of puzzles tend to hinge on the five digit, unique "giveaway" code generated by steam gifts when you create a giveaway. For instance, this thread's code is "forum/u7Kpw." Lots of puzzles will list five questions, the first letter of which will correspond to the characters missing from "giveaway/xxxxx" where the x's what you need to solve for. Some are not that simple, but that is the general idea in many of them.

Someone above mentioned watching for "solution" posts after those puzzles close and learning what the techniques for solving them included. That is a good tip. edit: of course it was wbarton. Good on you.
