I tried buying Super Meat Boy and Awesomenauts and after I entered all of my info TWICE this appeared: Your Payment Provider has not authorised your purchase. This may be because some banks (incorrectly) believe that Green Man Gaming is a gambling website. Please contact your bank to discuss your order. We are working with these banks to resolve this issue.

Did they take my credit card info? Did they charge me twice? What do I do? I'm scared.

Did you contact GMG directly?

GMG is rather buggy to begin with. The site has remembered and forgotten orders I didn't want it to, refused my register my credit card purchase, and even didn't give me a free game when I signed up for it and then disallowed redemption afterwards. But nothing catastrophic should happen, or if there was a problem, it can be rectified.

Actually I think I figured out the issue, I found this page: Link

And what I'm using is a Pre-Paid Visa Debit Card lol

The only other thing I need to do is see if my bank actually charged me

You may also want to check the steamgifts forums too. This subject has been brought up a few times.

They took your credit card info, but most probably they haven't charged you at all (unless you can see your purchased games in "Your Games" section of GMG website.
From my experience this is the result of their crazy security system auto-blocking some suspicious transactions even when they're not suspicious at all. That error may resolve itself in a few hours. You can also contact their support to fix this for you, they even have a separate ticket category for this particular error ("order not complete", which is usually the same error).

Click on "Support", enter anything into a search box, click "Search", then you'll see the link to submit a ticket.

It happens to me everytime since I found the website. It doesn't accept my CC or PayPal either.

I wrote about this in another post, for those continuing to have problems. It might, I should say probably, has nothing to do with your payment provider. If you are trying to use a non-prepaid credit card that you know will work or if you are trying to use Paypal, then check out what I wrote about. Maybe it will help you deal with support.

You can read my post here.

How do I actually tell if they charged me? I've been trying to figure that out... It doesn't show I have any games in my GMG account, so how do I tell if they charged me on my bank account?

GMG does NOT accept payment from select countries. They do not announce this fact. They just let you try and try to pay, give you the bullshit message on "gambling" and don't respond to your ticket for two weeks.

Do they charge me, though? .w. As long as they didn't charge me than I'm fine. Is there a way I can terminate my account on there if they didn't charge me?

No, they don't charge you if you get that message. What you'll need to figure out is if they processed it and the bank rejected (HillaryClinton's case below) or they didn't even process it (my case).

While that's possible, I know that a lot of people have issues using their various credit cards on the site. Most users have gotten results by calling their credit carriers and telling them to specifically allow the charge, though many have to do this every time.
