AC1 VS 2 VS Brotherhood!?

Personally, I'd choose AC2.

At some point its defo worth playing them all, but out of those three go for AC2.

IMO,I think Brotherhood is the best

ac1 is kinda bad. You're doing the same stuff whole the time and it has combat based boss fights. ac2 is very good, but brotherhood is basicly ac2 with more stuff. So brotherhood.

I'd go with either 1 or 2. 1 is definitely inferior, but it's the first game in the series and if you want to play it all the flaws in it will annoy you more if you've finished the later, better games first. It does get kind of tedious and repetitive, and then 2 does a much better job of building on the concepts in the first game. Brotherhood is pretty good, but the only real advantage to it over 2 is the multiplayer which was completely dead the last time I tried it.

Summary: if you care about the series, start with 1. If you just want fun gameplay, skip to 2.

Start with 1, for story.

If you care for story, get AC2. If you care for game play go for Brotherhood. AC1 is alright, but has the worst game play/story of the series.

Brotherhood for the gameplay, 1 for the story (also Altair is much better than Ezio)

Play all of them in order. Also, watch alien first than predator than alien vs predator

I think AC2 is the best. I play AC2,Brotherhood and Relevations except AC1.

Assassin's Creed II is the best one.

About AC: Brotherhood is imho the best - Rome is best city they ever created, it's soooo various - not like in revelations, all looks the same. You have slums, beautiful districts, gardens, villages outside of town - big part of AC franchise is exploring, and in Brotherhood everything is so different it simply doesn't bore you. Also Brotherhood has the most hidden dungeons which are my favoritue part of game ;P

About Alien/Predator: Doesn't really matter - franchises didn't have much in common till AvP, but I would reccomend seeing first 3 first Alien movies (Ressurection sucked ass), then Predator 1, then eventually AnP 1 (shity movie, but had some good moments). Alien:Ressurection, Predator 2 and AvP 2 are not even worth to waste time on imho.

I'd say the best is AC2, but you should think of the series as Assassin's Creed Episode I, II, III etc. You can't just pick the best episode and play it, you should play all of them through from the very beginning. Unless you only care about gameplay, of course, but if that's the case then I have no idea why you picked this series.

ac 2 is my favorite, and brotherhood is just an extension of 2. they polished up a few things, did some stuff with combat, fixed up some of the parkour a little bit.
it really is a coin toss and personal preference on which is better, AC2 or brotherhood.

you should play them all in order. you can't seperate them, story is highly connected.

Revelations have the best moving/jumping (etc.) system, but ou should play them all to get the message ;)

Best is AC2, then brotherhood, then AC1. I never played revelation b4.

If you could i would play all of them for the story, but if it is a choice between those games that you mentioned i would choose AC2

AC 1

AC1 is alright, but the controls feel awkward after you play the others.

AC2 is amazing compared to AC1. Very good game.

AC Rev is more or less just like Brotherhood, which is 2 with some stuff changed. The story on these goes in release order, with 2, Bro, and Rev being about Ezio.

If you want to get the full story, start with #1. Everything you don't like about it is fixed in 2. If you want to start with the better one, go for #2, since that's where Ezio's story starts. Rev is a bit better than 2, but you'll be lost on the story.

TL;DR: 1 for full story, 2 for better gameplay, but read up on 1's story.
