Ryz only brings this up when it's restricted for "Russian" countries. I never see him complaining when it doesn't affect him :P

I bring this up when I see it. And yes, if restriction includes my country there is more chances that I would notice, that's logical. And please, don't refer to my country as "Russian", that's insulting.

You can lock it to only your home country if you like it. I can't blame you, since this is not against the rules (and making a rule like that would be too harsh for people). It would be nice if sg would parse steam data and suggest only possible restrictions, it would be also much faster than selecting countries one-by-one, but I really doubt cg will ever bother to do that.

I don't know where you live. What do I call you - a cyrillian? I can't know where someone is from just cos they can understand Russian. That's like calling me British, I'm not British. So yes, that is a genuine question.
I agree that restrictions suck, but it's even more confusing to be told something doesn't have a restriction when the site you bought it from legitimately, tells you it's restricted. I Read your topic about restrictions, and if you recall, I could not understand it, perhaps I'm just dumb. I'd prefer to remain dumb to some things like that, because I have been caught out by region restrictions before.

And if you need to generalize you can always refer to this region as to "exUSSR countries" or "slavic countries" (the latter is less correct, since there is more slavic countries than just exUSSR).

Well, maybe I explained it bad, I'm not very good in explaining things. And I admit that the whole region locks system is fucked up and hard to understand. It would be much easier if sellers (and publishers in the first place) just mention what subID they sell us, but I don't know even a single shop where this is a thing, sadly.
