Steam Cards drop

A question: does your profile need to be level 5 in order to drop cards? I have a dummy account with some games with cards, I haven't spent any amount of money on it, so can I idle cards from those games or that feature is also locked?

No, it doesn't drop cards if your account is limited. Limited=you have not spent at least $5 with it.

You need to have at least $5 spent on games bought directly on Steam from that account.

also the cards would be pointless unless you can trade or sell them...and you need an unlocked account for that xD

My main account is unlocked, I wanted to transfer those cards to ma main, thanks for letting me know to not waste time!
