What kind of advertisement is this ?

Well.... it's from China... where's the problem?

I was about to say.

1.) Its an advertisement for some kind of new game/sport where soccer players destroy the attackers (soldiers) ala Shaolin Soccer style.

2.) Its really an advertisement promoting the thought of going to war.

Somehow, everyone look asian.

song sucks ass, animation is mostly nice (good style, but I hate the directing job on it)
i assume it's an ad/music video for a sports channel
they're portraying soccer as a warlike battle
and lots of youtube commenters are freaking out because it's war and asian and soccer and not in english
other than the commenters, i don't see what's so weird about it

Well... it is a Hong Kong ad from nowTV (it's the second largest broadcaster here). My parents and I always lament on how shitty Hong Kong/China ads are :P

Even so, the comments are pretty damn stupid. Here's a little lesson of history and whatnot:

1) Hong Kong is an SAR - Special Administrative Region. So we're not communist. At all. Some Hong Kong people are actually racist against 'Mainland Chinese' people >.>

2) I'm actually surprised by the war-ish feel to the ad. The vast majority of Hong Kong people aren't violent. Or, at least, don't care enough about you and your problems to bother to get violent. Seriously, Hong Kong protests are boring as hell. (In a good way!

It looks like CoD has been outsourced to China and there is a new series being planned. Call of Duty Modern Futbol where the Chinese are waging global war by making people's ears bleed.
