It's funny, I was congratulating myself on buying Metro Exodus in the nick of time, but of course after a couple days I completely forgot about it. :( Maybe I should have waited a year after all... :)
That puzzle guide is 99% overkill for this particular puzzle, but there's one small part that explains the only thing you need to know to solve it. Now, I can't tell you which part that is, but if you read the whole thing you'll probably find it. :) Or your eyes will glaze over and you say screw it. :)

I think it's great that Paradox have found a way to keep the lights on, since I enjoy most of their games, and nobody works for free. :)
I don't think this sort-of-subscription via endless DLC works for me, but if enough of their other fans keep buying them, great. :) It's not like I can remember to play any of these games anyway... :)

Well, it's a win for me, sorta, but I feel Kant is nagging me... :) Umm, you know, that whole act as if the maxims of your action were to become through your will a universal law of nature business... :) If nobody buys them, we're all screwed. :) It's not like everyone working at Paradox will decide they don't need money after all. :) Oh well...
I'd be a lot happier with more of those 75% discounts, seems they have been getting scarce lately... :( I do seem to buy the Crusader Kings DLC eventually, kinda lost interest in all the EU and HOI stuff though... :( You need to be in the right mood for Paradox games, sometimes you just want to turn off your brain... :)

Meh, I think there's no right or wrong way to play these games. Your given so many tools and multiple ways of approaching a problem so it doesn't really matter how you did it as long as you enjoyed the game.

I agree, but some ways do feel more satisfying than others... :) I could try to learn how to parry enemy X, or I could level up and get so much health that it doesn't matter... :)

Sounds like a good plan... :) It's not much like Dark Souls but I guess you'll find that out quickly... :)
You don't exactly "level up", but you do get umm, not souls from defeating enemies that you can spend to get funky ninja stuff, new moves, passive boosts to whatever. So if some boss is smacking you around, maybe you notice something in the skill tree thing sounds like it would make that fight easier. You could repeatedly fight some easy guys to get enough not souls to unlock the something.
Also you get umm, upgrade balls from various mini-bosses or exploring that you can cash in to boost your maximum health and "posture". You can also upgrade your not estus flask to give more chugs in a similar way. :)
I don't remember the name of anything, as you might have noticed... :)

I've had time to play the game for only a few hours but I've been having a lot of fun with it. Granted I haven't gotten to the tougher challenges yet, so we'll see how I handle those soon enough.

Well, perhaps it's not quite that difficult. Actually it's so not difficult I can quote the solution verbatim from the puzzle guide:
